The face on Rodimus kinda reminds me of E.T.

I'll be very interested to see how the figure turns out.

they all look cool. strika looks badass...except for his ridiculous feet...

I like Rodimus, but the rest I don't care for at all.

I never likes Blackout or Strika and Spittor so far looks more like a Trash-co waste disposal unit with tentacles and legs then it does a frog.

Meh' I'm sure something better will redeem this.

Spittor will definate;ly be my Sharkticons. Strika's alright I guess. We'll see what they do to Blackout. Right now he;s ugly.

Oddly, I am most excited about Blackout. Nice to see that one of the exclusive movie characters might just make it to another series. Now for Barricade!

Strika has a lot of possiblities as well. Happy to see some other folks besides me like her.

These look pretty good to me. I'll be interesting to see how they'll portray Rodimus in this series. Spittor will probably be comic relief. Strika & Blackout look they are gonna be huge characters like Lugnut & Bulkhead.

Blackout looks horrible but the others look good. Next question is what do they turn into

Blackout looks like it might be a copter like in the movie. Interesting.

Hot Rod looks a lot like Blurr, transform wise I mean. I'm guessing a sports car.

Hmmm at first glance I thought the frog/battleoid thing was the vehicle mode for Strika. I guess not though.

Can't wait for season 3!

What does the no lip sync thing mean? Are they not going to talk? Or just not move their mouths when speaking? Or does it not mean anything at all?

Blackout's face looked so cool in TF the movie and here it looks like an insect. I really hope they go back to the "Shredder" look. Also what's up with the bulky Decepticons? First Lugnut and now these guys?

I think it means that they don't have mouths that move wen they speak.

Strika is a whole lotta lady.

And for those who were wondering, "no lip sync" means that they don't have moving mouth parts and therefore do not have to have their "lips" synced up with the voice actor's audio. They may, however, have flashing lights or whatnot, a la Wheeljack.

I'm really happy about them using Blackout in another series, great move! And I hope they make a toy out of Spittor - his alt mode is adorable, and it looks just like the Don Figueroa design for his Cybertronian mode from Beast Wars: Gathering.

Am I right?

question that remians will rodimus still have his orginal vehical mode or completly differnt one he looks the same compared to his generation 1 version.

Wow! Cool! A picture of Transformers: Animated Rodimus Prime is finally here. However, we are still not sure what his vehicle mode will be like. Could he be a futuristic, burly, tough-looking muscle car and act as Lockdown's rival. Consider this:


Rodimus Prime: orange, yellow, and red 2008 Dodge Challenger

Lockdown: black with green spots (later yellow) 1967 Mercury Cougar XR7

Someone didn´t see BM Strika's feet and is a little bit sexually confused.
Strika was one of the greatest cybertronian generals ever, and is a big female with massive tyres for feet.

I like how they made Blackout intentionally look insect like, and yet still retain the series style, blended with the movie style.

And you have to love another helicopter mode.

my take on the characters-

rodimus prime:
one of prime's friends that is the leader of a repair crew similar to optimus's.
his personnality is probably like prowl's,and he's sentinel's sentinel(treats sentinel prime the way he treats optimus).
alt.mode:truck with trailer(that is part of the robot mode)

spittor:
he is a transport mech that carries other troops into battle,and when the decepticons need rienforcments,he transforms and attacks(think the at-at from star wars crossed with g1 devestator)

strika:
similar in personality to bulkhead only eviler.
she turns into a stryker vehicle

blackout:
think of lugnut,now make him twice as big,then add all of ultra magnus's weapons(minus the hammer),then make him a loner(and not like lugnut who teams up with the guy that needs a straitjacket)
he turns into a helicopter

Rodimus looks cool.

Spittor look Quintesson-like.

Strika looks exactly like her BM form. When I read the note, I thought it said "No Lipstick". LOL

Anyone else think Blackout looks like BW Waspinator on steroids.

If they keep Blackout's personality similar to the movie character, are they going to have competitions between him and Lugnut as to who can suck up to Megatron the most?

Rodimus looks OKAY, I hope he is named Rodimus Prime, and can be the oppisite od Sentinal. Spittor looks kind of cute, and Strika and Blackout are fat.

Rodimus looks like a fat guy that lost a lot of wieght and now has a boney face with big cheek bones.

This honestly look really cool, I love the interpretation of movie Blackout.

Why? Why God? Why did they bring Rodimus into it?

I think lugnut gets reformated into Blackout.

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm sure this is his alt mode and looks very much based on his Cybertronian alt mode from BW:The Gathering. Looks way cool I hope he's a deluxe, it would make a cool little figure and it looks like there are enough voyager sized mechs among the rest.

hm, I like these decepticon designs! I'm not a big fan of animated, but maybe I'll catch season 3. Oh, and is Stryka still gonna be a chick? I hope so, cause... well... I can't really think of a reason why, but I hope so.

Ugh. I hate leaks. They always have the worst quality images. Not even any color! Oh well. Maybe you can see that Spittor's Cybertronian vehicle form is inspired by Don Figueroa's totally freaking awesome BW comic pre-beast Spittor design. And General Strika! Chalk up another personal Transformers life goal for yours truly!

Cool stuff, blackouts my faouvite and strika was a big surprize, heres thumbs up to Obsidian now that would be somehing else.

I see the pipes on Rodimus' arms are pointing up. Probably means he won't have the arm lasers of the original. After all, the Animated Autobots aren't big on that sort of thing, aren't they?

Take a close look - they used Movie Brawl/Devastator's face for Animated Blackout. Very Weird...
