Site sponsor Kapow! Toys has revealed a set of special edition Takara Tomy Transformers Prime Arms Micron Capsule Toys for 2013. All are translucent redecos of the existing capsule toy molds.
The Autobot set consists of translucent blue and red:
The Decepticon set consists of translucent purple:

They look like Pure Energon and Dark Energon versions, respectively.

Indeed, in fact I have to correct myself on this. MX stands for "Matrix", since they seem to be powered up by Arms Master Optimus' Matrix.

Love the Arms Microns but was not impressed with the first set of Capsule ones. The ones that require assembly are awesome! The pre assembled ones... not so much. All of my first wave ones are very loose, and I would have much rather built them myself, thats half the fun. Will be passing on these.

if i didn't already have the molds, i would be on this.
