The new Transformers reveals take the Cyberverse toyline in a step towards the mainline quality of figures. The new figures feature more complex transformations and more advanced articulation. They also all include parts for a Transformers build-a-figure and effects parts. The new figures are as follows.
Bumblebee - notable for being a Cyberverse Bumblebee figure that finally utilizes the actual parts from his vehicle mode to form his robot mode, giving us a real roof chest, bumper shoulders, and door wings. He comes with a handgun and his stinger weapon.
Optimus Prime comes with his ion blaster and an opening chest that reveals the matrix. He also includes a blast effect that doubles as a matrix blast from his chest.
Megatron is a more advanced figure that makes a much more convincing tank. He includes his fusion cannon complete with blast effect, and he even has a smirk on his face.
Shockwave once again shows that Cyberverse can produce some pretty dang good Shockwave figures, and he comes with a hand weapon complete with blast effect.
And finally, the build-a-figure for the wave is Maccadam! Maccadam comes in 10 pieces, though if those 10 pieces are divided up solely between the 4 figures listed here is yet unknown. Maccadam is the kindly bartender from Cyberverse who might actually be a member of the 13 and has also shown to be a pretty big help for the present day main cast. Maccadam is non-transformable, but promises to be pretty dang posable with all his pieces.

4 Good looking figures, and we get a Maccadam!!
You get half a Maccadam, since he is made up of 8 parts, just in case that wasn't clear. The build a figure aspect here doesnt matter much since these are all figures I would buy anyway. What BLOWS about Marvel Legends BAF is that their build a figures have recently been something that should be a mainline figure. Thanos was the BAF of the Infinity Wars line AND of the Endgame line. And those lines consisted of 3rd tier comic characters like Black Night and Hercules that you had to buy. Like Fuck Off already. But here, its maccaddams, not a mainline bot and not a figure that transforms anyway. And you end up with good figures of popular bots from the show. He really feels like an extra, which is what BAF figures should be.
Also, people can always sell the parts they dont want (either the extra macadams part of the deluxe robots) to recoup whatever cost. We already have an established fan community seling toys, this is just getting added to the mix.
And I agree D-Max, these are the big reveals for me. Knowing that this line is actually giving us toys on the level with the generations line.
And finally, Bee gets a toy where it's good and there is no fake kibble.
His chest is as fake as Pamela Anderson's.

And just announced during the cool season of the cartoon.bacem wrote:This is...wow. hasbro, i was convinced i can just focusing on wfc, why must you do this? A great, proportioned figure, with articulation on par with wfc, actually in cyberverse toyline? I even want that bee, and i am not a huge bee fan.

Just quoting what Warden said. He could always be wrong. But usually in BAFs, the entire arm comes with a figure. So if the two arm pieces are given at once, then you end up with 8 pieces, as he said.

But why would they break up the torso though? and BAF usually have a head and weapon together

Maybe thats to show the posability options and that thisbis not just a static shampoo bottle figure?

I really want a Maccadmam curse them for making him parts to figures O dobt want. Prime and Megatron bith look really good for what they are though, but I have enpugh of those two in the Main line. Shokwabe is tempting.
Windblade could be promising here. Dare I hope for a Slimpstream?

thanks! in that case, i'll be waiting for review first, to see if i should buy it immediately, or wait for a bit of price reduce on retail.

Outside of that, these are all looking pretty nice. Still hoping we get a more Voyager-sized Cyberverse Optimus with this level of articulation/engineering at some point for my roughly-in-scale-with-each-other Optimus collection, but this still looks good. Especially glad we finally get a Cyberverse Bee that's well articulated AND the vehicle mode parts actually appear where they should in the robot mode.

There's still more to come just that you won't see them at this show...

More likely, they figured out why sales were lagging.

Below you will find images for the 4 deluxe class bots revealed. These are different from the warrior class figures since they are as articulated and complex as standard deluxe class Transformers figures. They have the same price point as those as well, $19.99. The toys shown were:
Transformers Cyberverse Deluxe Class Optimus Prime With Matrix Mega Shot Attack
Transformers Cyberverse Deluxe Class Megatron With Fusion Mega Shot Attack
Transformers Cyberverse Deluxe Class Shockwave With Shock Blast Attack
Transformers Cyberverse Deluxe Class Bumblebee With Sting Shot attack
Each one comes with a piece to build a non transforming Maccadam figure. Consider it a bonus, especially when Siege deluxes don't come with a build a figure component and cost as much. It is unsure just how many are needed since while John Warden said 8, it seems Maccadam is made up of 10 different parts. These first four will come with a leg, lower arm, torso and pelvis. They are due January 2020. Clicking any image below will bring you to the full gallery. We also have a video of the show floor that you can check out right below the images.

As long as they don't give them all the same wings. Starscream has a unique set of wings (and big shoulders) while the Seekers all get the normal wings.Ultra Markus wrote:Now if they could just do the seekers that way

Still not sure if I want them to be drones or be individuals who have transferred their sparks to bodies foraged after Shockwave's image.

If they do another build-a-figure wave like this one, I hope we get Wheeljack, Hot Rod, Ratchet, Cheetor, Jetfire, Sky-Byte, Lockdown and a Seeker or two, and perhaps Clobber as a build-a-figure?
Who was Clobber again?

Female Lugnut. She, along with Lockdown, are considered by Megatron to be his "most worthless foot soldiers."william-james88 wrote:Munkky wrote:It's probably safe to say that Starscream and Windblade will be two of the unrevealed four figures in this range, and if I had to hazard a guess I'd say Grimlock and either Shadowstriker or Soundwave for the remaining two. "Drift and Bumblebee are good Warrior Class figures but suffer from the usual Cyberverse complaints of thin and cheap-feeling plastic. Of the two, Drift is the better overall figure but Bumblebee is much better than the original Warrior Class toy, the gimmick works. If you're looking to only buy one figure I'd go with Drift."

My guesses are:
Hot Rod: Deluxe Class
Repugnus: Warriors Class
Whirl: Warriors Class
Megatron: Deluxe Class
Bludgeon: One-Step
Such a shame for Bludgeon. O well, off to hunt the RiD Warrior one.

i say bludgeon a warrior class well, mostly because he also has what looks like a removable sword, and i don't think one step have accessories, at least not cyberverse one step

Bludgeon's very simple, even for Warrior standards: slide and fold everything in and lay him flat. Even the articulation is One-Step level, only the elbow move.

And I wouldn't read too much into that sword, because I don't think any of the currently-released Cyberverse figures, other than the Spark Armor ones, have accessories.
