I've noticed this too. Every time they release the official images, there's always a tonne of them missing.
Count up six shot's modes there

Yeah, it's kind of weird when those vehicles are kind of the best thing ever.
Hell, I think Wave 3 is going to be the best Titan Master Wave. All of them are beasts; one of them being the Crashbash mold which everyone adores, with the other three being completely new molds that all look amazing.

I love this. He'll be the first Hasbro Prime released with a Diaclone Driver.
I bet Maz is chuffed about that one!

Posted by Evil Eye on July 29th, 2016 @ 5:30am CDT
Kickback is HE WILL BE MINE OH YES HE WILL BE MINE. Now I just need to get a replacement Shrapnel. And get a Bombshell.
Fangry is just so ludicrous that I love him. Not sure if I'll get him but I do love him.
Optimus Prime is...hmm. The robot mode looks legit great. The tanker mode is cool too. But that plane mode...BLOIK. That's bad. I don't want another Optimus Prime at the moment (being quite satisfied with...DOTM Prime...yeah, I'm weird) and looking at that mess of a plane mode Octane is out. HOWEVER, if they bring out a Scourge/Nemesis Prime deco I'd buy it.
Megatron I am somehow liking a lot more. The proportions look better somehow now. But jesus that grey plastic is horrendous. C'mon Hasbro, we got a LEADER CLASS Megatron that was coated in lovely silver paint, but you can't be bothered to paint a much smaller toy? Combined with the fact I'm working on that custom of mine, this is a pass. I may very well buy the Blitzwing version though.
Hot Rod is merely OK. The car mode is cool but the robot mode is kinda bleh.
Sixshot looks awesome. Like, legitimately awesome. Not quite as great as Hexatron, but given how expensive he is and how great this looks considering the price...I may have to buy it.
Ptero is boring. Pass.
Posted by Carnivius_Prime on July 29th, 2016 @ 5:31am CDT
Not keen on that Prime. Megatron looks better than previous pics I've seen of that toy and he does the triple changer thing better than that Prime. They're both hurt with being obviously designed for other characters rather than unique molds.
Sixshot looks like Sixshot. Great if you liked his design but I always thought he looked like junk in every mode so an easy pass.

That's a beautiful little obscure japanese G1 reference there and I love it. But there's a note of bitter irony.

Im pretty sure that the universe Tankor was the inspiration of drawing the comic model of tankor... Given how universe tankor was released in 2008.

I think he means that that the jet/tanker truck and tank/fighter jet should have been released as Octane and Blitzwing first, rather than later. Call it a spoiler for the ones who are know-it-alls when it comes to Triple Changers. Speaking of spoilers:
Hey there, Blitzwing, like your new job?
We really need a broadside...
When i first saw the megatron, the grey made me think of broadside. Could still see it working if the tank cannon was removed and the surface was just a flat landing strip.

Well I don't think they made that with the notion that the 2008 had those shoulders. Honestly the big shoulders is no doubt a coincidence. It's an Optimus prime that turns into a tanker truck and plain that is meant to look like laser Optimus and is meant to be retooled into Octane and it just so happens that the 2008 had big shoulders too.

I don't blame you, Va'al. It appears we still have no pic of Sixshot's base mode.
Love the official pics. It's kinda fun to see the difference in some transformations to the floor models. For instance, the official OP jet image seems to have a rear end that is a kibbly mess:
While the floor image seems better:
I like the truck nose as underslung engines or something on the wing.
One last observation, I'm getting a Prime Wheeljack feel from Hot Rod...
Maybe it's just my previous complaint about the arms being so long, maybe it's the shorter legs. But, something just feels a little off about Hot Rod...

I mean I like the figure as it's always great to have a new Megatron. It's just the chest part feel like it don't mesh well for the figure since it looks molded plastic and not exactly painted. I might just being funny. This is still in the prototype stage.

You're not wrong. It looks like the exact same grey color plastic galvatrons Titan master is in and it's very unflattering. Washes out a lot of detail. One of the few I'll pick up and keep an eye out for Takaras

Its the other way around. The floor is mistransformed. The Wings need to be more centered or else
1. It looks less like a plane and more like a missile
2. by putting them in the back you dont cover the truck kibble as well
3. the piece that connects the wings to the body ends up flush against it only when the wings are centered
4. every version of Octane has wings in the middle
I still find the G1 version to have the best airplane mode so far
Transformers G1 1986 Octane (Octone) Gallery
Though kudos on the truck mode, it looks great. I am very intrigued by the transformation since there is so much new alt mode detail that seems to completely dissapear in bot mode. There's a reason no one was convinced he was a triple changer from the robot mode pics. I will pick him up as Octane, as I am doing with all the repurposed triple changers.
And yeah the sixshot alt modes confuse me too, it would be nice if they culd get their stuff together but it seems that a cg render of the base doesnt exist. I do spot the base mode in the background on one shot, though that may be the submarine. Speaking of, that doesnt look like a submarine. Still looks like a great toy though, glad I didnt buy the G1 ty yet or Hexatron (or a Ko of either). This looks awesome. I am totally going to do that flying wolf mode (which I always thought was the defacto mode for the wolf).
RodimusConvoy13 wrote:I'm thinking of doing a series of these where Kup just gets more and more crotchety about Titan Masters.
The next wave will have a headmaster Kup with a titanmaster head (only the litle bot is called the titanmaster, not the whole robot), so if you think he'd be pissed now....
KICK-EFFING-BACK: About GOD DAMN TIME. I'm a little sceptical of the bot mode, but this is an absolute instant buy.
I too am skeptical. The other 2 are very much their G1 toys with better articulation. This one is different. Though I am totally cool with them trying to give him 2 seperate heads for his 2 modes. I will wait tosee how he looks like next to the other 2 before I make a judgement on the proportions, but they look off right now.
So here is what I will be getting from these reveals:
the 3 new titan master molds (by the way what is Ptero's secondary non beast vehicle mode?)
Hot Rod (that alt mode looks awesome and I like how the heavy contrast with his red face helps ignore the block behind it)
Kickback
Sixshot (well done all around, 0 complaints)
I will wait to see what Octane looks like before I buy that mold.

Its not a prototype, I can guarantee you that. Show prototypes are usually painted, this is the opposite. The fact that they even inserted the stickers to give fans an idea of what it looks like seals the deal. These toys ship out in 5 months, they are at the packaging phase. And plus we have the actual schematic for deco colours which confirms there is no light grey paint on the toy:
The light gray colour is only the colour of the plastic, confirming that what you saw is the final product.

That is weird and it was bugging me too. And there will be no other show to promote them before NYCC which is too late (they would be coming out the month after). I think they will be revealed later this week-end. It was said early on that they were at the show. I REALLY want to see that Doublecross titanmaster.

Kickback: Don't have the other Insecticons, so probably pass. Looks cool though.
OctaneOptimus Prime & BlitzwingMegatron: They're both good. Sure, the alt modes look a bit odd, but what do you expect from a triple-changer? Either way, I'll be getting these two instead of the inevitable repaints, as the only other Prime/Megs duo I have that are in scale with each other is MP-10 and Apollyon.

I, too, was thinking of Broadside rather than Blitzwing. While a new figure so soon after the last figure came out isn't unprecedented (Generations and CW Brainstorm), and Generations Blitzwing isn't without its problems, Broadside is pretty much the only triple-changer remaining we haven't seen yet, and it'd fit well enough with that Megatron mold (though Leader class might be better than Voyager).
I definitely see Octane in that Laser Prime mold. While the plane mode isn't the greatest, overall, the figure looks to be WAY better than that clunky Universe figure.

Yeah. That's kind of my issue with the Galvatron as well and why I was considering to take after the mod that was done with the silver sharpie here or just friction swap the head between Galvatronus and the TR Galvy.

Most likely though I will buy it when it comes out and wait to reserve judgment until I have it in hand like all toys I get.

I mean I like the figure as it's always great to have a new Megatron. It's just the chest part feel like it don't mesh well for the figure since it looks molded plastic and not exactly painted. I might just being funny. This is still in the prototype stage.

Then again since I started getting more Legends like Windcharger, Thundercracker and Groove I've started to be a little more interested in the class... eh, if I do pick him up he'd be the last one I get unless he goes on sale or something.
