Update: The pre-orders for both figures have been temporarily taken down. There is a problem processing orders at the moment. The figures are not sold out and they hope to have pre-orders back up shortly.
Pre-orders are now open for the TFCC 2012 exclusives Over-Run (aka Runabout) and Shattered Glass Drift! Over-Run is priced at $54.00 and Shattered Glass Drift is priced at $49.00. If you are interested in either of the exclusive T-shirts you should pre-order them now, according to the club they will be made to order. $20.00 each:

Pheeewwww! Ordered 2 Over-Runs and a Drift, and received confirmation by e-mail! Not cheap by any means, especially due to excessive international shipping costs, but well worth it none-the-less I'm sure. Decided not to get a T-shirt, though...

I tried to pre-order 4 times (using two separate cards) and each time I received an "unknown" card error. It seems I need to call in, but they closed shop 8 minutes ago. We'll see what's left tomorrow.

The error msg received provides that their office hours are 9:30am = 4:00 pm Central. What's funny is, at the bottom of the actual page, the hours are 9:00 am - 4:30 pm.
It's just frustrating because there seems to be a problem ordering items every year, and I really don't feel like going to the secondary market to purchase something because their system can't handle the transaction.

Well, at least they decided to put them up end of day on monday instead of friday like they did Botcon so if there are problems, people don't have to wait a whole weekend for service.

Putting it up in the middle of the day is a lot more fair to people in different timezones though...if they put it up in the morning west coast folks would still be snoozing. This way they had time to build up so everyone could be aware of when to watch their computers.

I successfully talked to them on the phone. They said to continue trying to place an order until it was successful; they will not try to run the failed orders. Their system is being overwhelmed with volume.

To be fair to TCC there do seem to be an insane number of people all trying to preorder at once. Although they brought it on themselves by making the figure half of a pair that every club member will get the other half of and, last year, reporting exactly how quickly Ramjet sold out.

I appreciate a lot of things the club does and have definitely dropped a few grand with them, but they have a habit of finding new and exciting ways to piss off the fanbase.
Pete's FB comment where he told everyone to "ease off" is ignorant at best and arrogant at worst.

YAY! I got mine! I didn't actually want to get SG Drift, but I figured 3 months down the road, I'd just HAVE to have him because I'm a D about these things, so, Yay!

Just for the record, NONE of you owe them an apology for placing multiple orders. The customers should be apologized to for this situation, not the other way around. I'm tired of people trying to make us feel guilty for being a fan and seeing people get abused like that. We're the customers. As customers, we should be happy and satisfied ... not feeling guilty for trying to purchase products from a company.
