Primes of Japan "Sapporo Prime" Revealed

Just a quick update to Takara's "Cybertron Satellite" Primes of Japan promotion, Sapporo Prime has been discovered. He makes the 9th Prime to be discovered, each serves as a mascot of sorts for various regions and cities in Japan. Scroll to the bottom to check him out, he appears to make use of Animated Prime's design. Image courtesy of Twitter user @gikogakodo.
Autobase Aichi have posted some images of a Transformers Prime Arms Micron retail display including the "Cybertron Satellite" that we saw earlier in the scans from Dengeki Hobby. This Matrix shaped display monitor is part of a campaign to sell store exclusives at Japanese retailers. Check out the images mirrored below.
Additionally store mascots based on location have also been designed.

Just looked at the latest reveal. Sapporo Prime looks to be based on Animated Optimus Prime.

You didn't see the pre order for fort max he comes in 3 pieces the first piece is up for pre order on certain sites I'm not sure what ones

Looks like Ratchet got some tiger in his tank. If these were to see toy form, they would probably be directly marketed to collectors I think.

Actually, if in plastic form, they would be repaints AND remolds w/ a few having new heads.
Since it seems you haven't read, these are Characters designed to represent a specific city in Japan.

I was not asking about the cities, I was asking what caused these repaints, if they are toys and if they would be remolds instead of repaints. Seems no one knows for sure. Nice job on reading a post, though.

the bottom one just makes me think of Date Masamune from Sengoku Basara
But im pretty sure they are just artwork and will not be made into actual figures.

That's because Sendai is founded by Date Masamune. The head is based on his helmet and eyepatch.

I want a toy of Sendai Prime! Assuming they never do anything with these designs, this could be a good idea for a custom project. It's freaking Murasame Date!

It's Masamune Date xD. But I get your point. It would be awesome if Takara did some Sengoku-formers. Like turning Optimus to Tadakatsu or Megatron to Nobunaga Oda
