| Re: R2-D2 in ROTF (942349) Posted by dabattousai on June 25th, 2009 @ 3:58pm CDT Interesting Easter Eggs. Was the T-1000 underneath the Decepticon logo on Jetfire? | |
| Re: R2-D2 in ROTF (942358) Posted by UltraPrimal on June 25th, 2009 @ 4:05pm CDT Love the bit about Megan's "Butt Cam". "...sliding in and out from behind me". Massive lols! | |
| Re: R2-D2 in ROTF (942370) Posted by Savage on June 25th, 2009 @ 4:11pm CDT I honestly haven't seen these cameos yet myself. Didn't notice them the first time I saw the movie, but I'll be looking much closer the second time. Part of me hopes the T-1000 is printed on the Alicebot. | |
| Re: R2-D2 in ROTF (942373) Posted by ShGarland_1383 on June 25th, 2009 @ 4:14pm CDT Damn, that astromech sure knows how to get around... First a cameo in the Star Trek reboot, then ROTF... I've gotta try to go see this movie this weekend. Wouldn't it be in Imax, too? Because the closest theater I know of right now is an Imax... | |
| Re: R2-D2 in ROTF (942375) Posted by Savage on June 25th, 2009 @ 4:19pm CDT
You, my friend, are quite in luck. If there was an IMAX near me, I'd be there already.
| Re: R2-D2 in ROTF (942376) Posted by Jacob P. Galvatron on June 25th, 2009 @ 4:21pm CDT Spoilers, I guess. Anyone else see Bonecrusher when all the Decepticons landed? It was actually just the Buffalo vehicle, but it still had the huge fork... | |
| Re: R2-D2 in ROTF (942388) Posted by T-Macksimus on June 25th, 2009 @ 4:33pm CDT First Star Trek and now RotF. Do they realize that they are turning this poor little bot into a movie whore? And Yeah, Jacob P. I saw what you saw...that was pretty cool. I had to do a brief doubletake but it really didn't surprise me much what with all the other "doubles" that were going on. That aspect really added to the G1 feel of the whole thing. | |
| Re: R2-D2 in ROTF (942417) Posted by YRQRM0 on June 25th, 2009 @ 5:09pm CDT I didn't see any, but I did see Bonecrusher. He was in robot mode at some point, too. | |
| Re: R2-D2 in ROTF (942454) Posted by tyler1451 on June 25th, 2009 @ 5:43pm CDT The T-1000 thing is Alice walking out of the building at a normal pace. Just like that scene in Terminator 2. Also, can someone clarify this up for me, but did the Alicebot transcan an animatronic "Alice in Wonderland" Alice? | |
| Re: R2-D2 in ROTF (942457) Posted by Megatron Wolf on June 25th, 2009 @ 5:45pm CDT I noticed the T-1000 but didnt pay any mind to it. I just thought it was a coincidence. And see i was right Bonecrusher lived. He was in alt and robot mode in the movie alive and well. I have another movie pass so i may see it again. Ill have to look for the other easter eggs. Mainly R2. | |
| Re: R2-D2 in ROTF (942466) Posted by Autobot Megatron on June 25th, 2009 @ 5:52pm CDT I saw bonecrusher in alt mode, and in the credits, I saw "bonecrusher the (and I'm not sure of the last word)," as himself. | |

And Cloverfield poster (quite brilliantly put in the shot actually), the first trailer for Cloverfield appeared in front of the first Bayformers. so, another continuity error?

Did they show us a scene of her doing it...No. Is that the official backstory as to who/what "Alice" is...Yes. There were a handful of spots throughout the whole movie where stuff that should have been in it that was in the book did not make it to screen. This is a shame because there were scenes that we really didn't need that just took up space for the sake of a quick chuckle. Those moments would have been better spent quickly explaining a few tidbits that would have made the movie flow a lot better. To be honest, while it did get a brief chuckle out of me, I could have done without seeing Devastators...scrotum! Besides which, there was only one crane...where did the second "Ball" come from??? How does THAT happen??

That was for the dog in the bike shop. His name was "Bone Crusher." they did that for fun's sake. The "bonecrusher" from the final fight scenes was probably just another Decepticon that was the same size as the original, so used the same mode. Whatever, it works. We have mass production too.
