This saturday, comic retailers across North America will participate in Free Comic Book Day, when stores will give away one (1) free comic to each customer. Included in the FCB specials is an Transformers Animated comic. From FCBD.com:

This special 2008 Free Comic Book Day edition celebrates the new Transformers Animated series. In this, their first official comic book release, readers will be treated to a special 30-page story featuring the debut episode of the animated series on the printed page! You asking if the FCBD comic is going to be the same as it was last year? Because they change them every year. Last year it was Movie Prequel #1, this year it's going to be the first comic release for Animated. Edit: Assuming I'm able to go in for this tomorrow, I dunno if I'm actually going to get Animated as my free comic. There are figure in this toy line I'm interested in getting, but I'm not so interested that I'd pick this one up... | |
