ROTF Arcee in package and first image of Mixmaster G1 colors

My god Mixmaster looks horrible in those colors.

I am not sure. But I think is inevitable all constructicon toys will repaint to G1 colour scheme.

Heck I may even get the G1 colored one. The movie one doesn't appeal to me at all, but if they do G1 repaints of all the Constructicons, whoa nelly!!!!

I think Mixmaster looks freakin' sweet in those colors, but I suppose it's not in line with the 'real world' setting of the movies. I'll be getting all the Costructicons in both paint apps if they release them. Arcee looks like shit... why not just stick with the design that was scrapped in movie 1? That was so much better than this turd on wheels!

Eww, Mixmaster looks ugly in those colors. The silver and gray version looks so much more awesome.

Hmmm, I don't know what to think about Mixmaster--too bad he's not the same green as Long Haul (he seems lighter and more neon). I may wait to pick him up anyway rather than the regular one who's colors are only "meh" to me as well. Arcee is probably a pass, and Swerve is a must get!

I think Mixmaster looks brilliant, but I must say I'm a little disappointed as I was holding out on the G1 repaint being on the legends class figures; that would be all kinds of awesome.

Judging by what I read from people reading the comics and novel, the tree bikes are all Arcee alo G1 cartoon Reflector and only since the movie cut out the combining aspect of her where her tree components treated as individual characters in toy form.

I totaly agree....

I love the Classics line and the updated designs but the movie designs are totally different and I just don't think the aesthetics of the movie line work with G1 colors.

Anybody remember me calling this one on the Constructicons? I said about 2 weeks back that they should absolutely NOT do this and that it would be hideous. Some fans just need to learn, be careful what you wish for because you just might get it. Well folks, here's your G1 repaint. Sucks to be you guys.

I was thinking about getting Mixmaster but after seeing this im going to wait. Does any one know if this version is going to be a store exclusive or will it be mass released? Im defiantly getting swerve. That is what Sideswipe should have looked like in the first place. Arcee i think ill pass on for now. My friend is probably going to pick her up so ill wait until i can see the figure in person. If it can be modded to have some form of legs and look less like a snake ill get it but if that cant be done then it wont be in my vast collection of figures.

So, who is this repaint of Sideswipe supposed to be? Or is it just Sideswipe in G1 colors?

Wait, the cycle-sisters aren't going to combine in the movie? Sucks. But yeah, I get the Reflector homage. I wonder if '07 Arcee's head can replace this repainted head of Chromia's... <runs up to shelf and splays out '07 Arcee from her bike-mode> Hmmmm, I don't suppose her '09 alt-mode could conceal this larger head. It's supposed to be Swerve, the card bio apparently describing the character of his G1 version quite closely.

when i see a g1 coloured movie-devastator i will drop my pants and wobble to the toy store.

They look nice, but I have no need or desire to bolster my ranks with repaints for the movie line.

I think Mixmaster looks quite good and Swerve looks great.

On-screen characterizations are enough for me this go'round.

I love the G1 colored Mixmaster. I liked the mold to begin with, but was put off by the mismatched shades of white in robot-mode that made the toy look kind of cheap and generic. My eyes find this much more pleasing, with fully contrasting, sharp, vibrant colors, and a paint scheme that means I can throw it in with my classics line up like I have Movie Brawl and Animated Swindle.

My only regret now is that I broke down and spent $12 on Rampage rather than wait for him to be repainted. I won't make that mistake with the others.

This time around, I've only been going after figures that aren't repaints from the first movie, but I broke that rule for the TRU set.

I'm really liking this Mixmaster repaint. I think if they do all 6 in G1 colors, I'd buy them.

I will get arcee who is the third bike or is there one? I would have rater had a blue tracks version unless he will be in classic universe 3.0. I like the movie version better than G1 color mixmaster.

I just hope we get the EZ/Legends versions in G1 colors. I'd be all over that.

I know, and yeah I suppose I should have posted with a little less sarcasm. I just spent 3 days on an island with 90 sixth graders. You can take a wild guess as to my mental state (such as it is) right now.
However, just for a bit of insight, when I make guesses or comments as to particular color schemes or certain aesthetics I don't always just throw out personal opinion. I try to approach it the same way I would one of the jobs I'm contracted for so I take every aspect into account and try employ a degree of professional detachment. When you walk into a home where just the fixtures in two rooms are running $75,000 dollars and the general contractor is expecting your work to double the value of those rooms you need to make the homeowner happy as all hell and make sure the colors and finishes are spot on and blend beautifully.
Still, everyones taste is different and I've had to put my finest effort into rooms I would never want in a home of my own. So, sorry if I stepped on anyones toes. Plus side...somebody out there can have my G1 repaint. I'm cool with that.

i dont buy so many ROTF toys but if you saw some solid information in form of a photo of a G1 coloured Devastator wouldnt you buy it for teh heck of it??

Have to agree. G1 colored movie Constructicons would be cool if they did all six of them. I think ol' Mix looks better like this than the regular movie release.

Mixmaster looks, just disgusting. Ugh.

I dont know what to think about Mixy! i have him already and i love his colors now, but these colors i dont know about, theres something not right about them, i think its the green and purple, anyway, dont want it, looks terrible and who ever buys mixy is completely whacked in the head and color blind! and swerve is awesome! and one more thing, HASBRO stop the repaints please!!

i think that most people dosent like the Mixmaster repaint because his mold is very unattractive and the paint makes him worse. for me, G1 repaint Mixmaster looks like a toy i would actually consider buying because the normal one just looks disgustingly bad. imagine seeing long haul in G1 repaint or devastator in g1 repaint! that would be awesome!!
