We're getting to know Leader Starscream piece by piece. A video on Youku, from 蛤蟆杂货店, gives us an earful of the sounds from the Leader Class figure. "No One Can Defeat Starscream", in Charlie Adler's voice is the phrase that goes along with the figure. Check it out in the video below.

That's the nerdiest villain voice I've ever heard. I think a better phrase would be "sometimes cowards do survive..."

Well that's disappointing. It sounds like he says "You are going to meet Starscream" to me. Oh well, it won't stop me from getting it.

truthfully I would rather not have any sound gimmicks in a leader class, the one phrase they say and blinking eyes are NO substitute for a crappy figure (thats right, i mean you leader class Megatron, psshhh freakin tank mode doesnt even sorta look like the movie version....more like a hamburger with a turret on top.)I think the electronics take up too much space and there is no real payoff.
Here's hopin leader class blackout is soon on the way!

Worst voicing ever. But the figure is still an awesome one. Was just over on Peaugh's Youtube page and he said he should have Leader Starscream in the next few days for review. Can't wait. :-B

Personally tt needs to be either alot deeper or alot higher. Deeper if it wants to sound like something that cool looking would say. Or make it even higher pitch and more whine-y, to be more G1ish. but not chipmunk like cause that is the worst. Batteries are definetely coming out if i get this, which probably wont even happen so i don't have to worry. The voices do make the Leaders a little corny and are hard to take seriously.

Although it could be the sound quality of the video, that is a horrid sound effect. Charlie Adler does a superb Starscream voice, but they probably told him to sound "less intimidating", because that doesn't even sound like Starscream in the movies. Oh well, still can't wait to get the figure, and is it just me, or does the paint job look better than the gallery we saw? Perhaps it's just the lighting. :wink:

It sounds bad because the quality sucks and he tore him apart and used a metal tool. I like that he does a breath/snarl thing, and he didnt say I am starscream. Thats always a plus

You know, thats what i thought. he sounded like the G1 SS, especially "from the movie" it sounds the most.

exactly what i was thingking i had t play it again to be sure he coultnd find the button to make him talk he had take it apart makes no sense.........

still getting him i still perfer movie voices in the leader figures the g1 voices just dont fit with the movie characters it sounds out of place to me.

trust me it will sound better once its built together. i opened my megatron's chest and when i pressed the button it sounded horrible so wait until u know what it sounds like inside his chest
