If you have ever seen Mining equpiment up close, that scene could very well be just one of the combiner bots forming devastator. :shock:

I mean the toys though since the one shown now could be movie accurate. Now we got to wonder if we are getting one set of them or if they stay with the two sets.

wow now i see that ravage is coming out of the sea, my bet is that soundwave sent him on a mission to find megatron under the sea, who is with me :)

and im loving the construcobot, I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A ONE WHEELED BOT JUST LIKE THRUST IN BEAST MACHINES

Hi everyone! Since the trailer showed up on Seibertron I'm not a lurker anymore ;) That spot looks awesome! I love Ravage design and I can't wait to see Soundwave on a big screen. btw Did anyone notice that there are some bots chasing R8? It seems that there are three bots of medium size. Do you remember the video from set where R8 is chased by three Arcee motorbikes? What if those bikes have their own robot mode and in addition they combine to Arcee? Or maybe we have Arcee, Elita One and someone else?

i think it's devastator cos it's ginormous compared to prime (i think) who can be seen being flung in front of it

somehow it'll be harder to hide the tfs from public knowledge this time round it seems...

It turned into a Power shovel. It is one of the Constructicons.

It looks cool but the 'BW Thrust - Look a like' worries me a bit.
I do hope it's just one Constructicon and not Devastator. If it's only one it would be Scavenger, although his name isn't mentioned. :-?

Seeing it in higher resolution on the movie site the Consturcticon is big even for Prime. I sure hope there are more but that's scary to think if Prime if dwarfed by one goofy robot how big Devastator will be.

After seeing better pics of Ravage i have to say its the worst TF ive ever seen. My theory behind the thrust like bot is that its part of Devastator and its Bonecrusher. The head both in the trailer and on the toy look very similar to crushers head in the first movie. As for the hand thats holding sam, its Megatron. Same shape as his hand in the first movie, you can see the tread on the leg in the background and the rust on the hand can be explained by his submersion in the ocean. Also Starscream looks the same so i guess when they said hes going to me more G1-ish they mean how he acts. As for the the Fallen in the title i think it refers to both Megatron and Fallen. Obviously Megs is in the movie and i think the bot on the poster is Fallen. Oh and havent we seen Ravages design some where else? Oh yeah thats right......

Funny how perception works. I haven't been on here in a long time or read anything about the movie but after seeing the ROTF screen stills I though it was Grimlock breaking out of the ice, I did see something that looked like one of the seekers and thought I saw prime fighting Omega Supreme :lol: I'll have to look at it again after you guys put your ideas in my head and follow the news on here :)

I aint the only one who thought it!

I cant find the frame in the gallery, but i did grab some screenies from the hd from the official website which does show that the ones chasing the R8 are on what appears to be skate/surf boards!??! I will post when bucket comes back online.

Looks to me that Devastator is Wheelieshovelbot (:| . He is just too huge to combine as well. That said i think he looks cool. Who is the R8 btw? His face looks similar to Soundwave?? Scorponok and Frenzy worked in the first movie for me so i see no reason Ravage shouldnt and i am hoping Starscream rips his arms off!! :twisted: :twisted:

its crazy to think that we only saw about ten bots in this trailer and there supposedly 40+..its gonna b insane...and theres definitely three bots goin after the audi who im pretty is barricade reformatted cuz im sure he had to change cuz the humans know wat his old vehicle mode is. :D

Sorry to be so late in the game I was borne in 1976 and grew up with TF :)

And have ben reading the forum here for years.

2 things I saw in the teaser starscream spit's on Sam at 18sec or he seams toImage.

Second it look's like Megatrom/galvatron that's hitting prim at 20 sec with a kick to the headImage.

Can't upload files yet I think but if you look at "Megatron's" foot with the track it's verry similler as what hit's Prim in the faceImage.

I do agree, that hand does look like Megatron's.

As for the trailer, though it looked good ... I can't judge the movie based on that. The trailer for the first movie still gives me chills while the movie itself was a let down ...

(Sorry if this has been discussed already, but I've seen some people arguing about it)

My boyfriend and I hooked up my laptop to my TV to view the trailer and still frames even bigger. It is definately Sam (Shia LeBouef) being held down by Starscream, NOT Sam's or Megan Fox's dads. Megan Fox yells "NO". If there are some shots that kind of don't look like Shia, I think it's because it's a stunt double. But it is most definately him.

Begging to differ, fellow Long Islander (hi!), but Starscream does look slightly different about the face. Not that I'm the kind of geek who has intensely lusted after/cough/I mean, studied Starscream's face. His eyes are shaped differently (in 2007 they were more tilted upright) and he didn't have that sort of manic eyebrow spikey stuff over the eyes. And the little flares below his cheekbones were more aligned in the first movie. Can't quite see what's going on the the lower jaw, but that looks tweaked too. And that rotor-y, forky thing between his shoulders is new, too. And there's more gold colored than silver. Oh man, I'm a geek. I'll shut up now.

It also looks like they've balanced him out a bit so he doesn't have quite so much of the ridiculous chicken-leg gym dude (you know the guy---he lifts chest back bis and tris but never touches anything below the abs b/c, ya know, he can't see them when he poses in his mirror).

I am not sure I want him getting *too* G-1 if it's going to turn him into the butt of jokes, honestly. I mean, I just can't see this one say "I'm stupid, I'm stupiiiid!". Maybe more Armada-ish, without quite so much angst and emo. Starscream in a dark room listening to Sisters of Mercy whilst updating his Myspace page....

I am just happy he'll get to do something beyond say two lines and blink. (It is an awfully cute blink, mind you, but not exactly character-development material.)

Devestator, Ravage, Prime, Starscream are in this trailer. Prime is not jumping one Construticon, he is jumping on Devestator. He has the "Gizmo Duck" leg...Which may be cool actually. You can clearly see the Head, Arms and "Gizmo Duck leg" The arms are not identical. Ravage has to be one of the comets coming down on the naval group. Who the Audi is, I have no idea, and yes you can see the 3 things coming behind it. The Scene in Japan/China involves Devestator and the Audi, the engineering vehicles used for the Construticons are colored white and red.

So far I don't mind the new Devestator, Ravage looks like he turns into a jet of some sort or maybe a rocket or missile. But he has to be a smaller flying object, a lot smaller than Starscream.

Interesting.

I liked the first movie a lot, i did not expect it but it was completely my cup of tea and what I liked most was that it wasn't a "completely perfect" movie otherwise I wouldn't have wanted a sequel. They still have room to grow and improve.

this teaser looks promising, but it does not tell you a lot.
Also a lot of these images are clearly not final. so if you like them... hold on they are going to be even better in a few months.

I'm not joining the "is megatron in or out" discussion. Bay likes to make jokes so putting in a quick shot with a megatron look-a-like seems like a good joke to me. Even replacing a robot with Megatron for that shot just to keep this discussion open is not that far fetched or hard to do.

I just hope the vfx are going to be top quality again because with that many robots in the film chances are that the vfx quality might drop.
Be patient, we'll know soon enough.

overall, i think it was a great tv spot!
i'm really looking forward to the full trailer.
quite dissappointed with the large construction vehicles' robot design at the end though!
a ridiculously large robot clown on a unicycle.
kind of hard to take seriously!!

Here's hoping that they still have some post-production to go through with these scenes because there are some glaring issues. For example, if you look at the screen shots where Ravage is first coming out of the ocean the shadow isn't placed right (if that shadow is meant to be his), and there is no reflection of his legs or body on the surface of the water...

Ravage's shadow is there... it out in front of him cause the sun is behind him and the up close shot of him is on wet sand so there wouldn't be any reflection there either.

I think that the cool part of now knowing that Devastator is in this movie is that his arch enemy Omega Supreme will possibly show up in the sequel to ROTF, in order to deal with him. As well I am hoping that Frank Welker will be reprising his roles for Soundwave and Ravage. :-B
