The Transformers live Action Movie Blog has new information regarding Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. The first bit of information is that TFROTF is doing a re shoot at Edwards Air force Base. But the more interesting bit of information they have is a bit of info on the release of the TFROTF trailer.

In regards to the potential trailer, Cody reports that someone he knows involved with Transformers 2 said they are "90% sure" that the trailer will premiere with The Day The Earth Stood Still which comes out December 12th. They also said the trailer was "finished about a month ago".


Now as this looks more like "He tell me!" information we at seibertron.com advise you to take this with a grain of salt, maybe even with a bag of salt as we take this as a rumour.

In regards to the potential trailer, Cody reports his brother's boss's roomate's barber knows someone involved with Transformers 2 said they are "1500% sure" that the trailer will never be released. Ever. Although random people will come out and guess it will materialize at the latest Hollywood shlockfest. They also said the trailer was "finished about a month ago," and that Michael Bay personally trolls TF fan sites and is secretly planning to remake Jem and The Holograms with Miley Cyrus.

Not getting my hopes up this time.
I was among the many who thought that the trailer would be shown with Quantum Of Solace.
I'll believe it when I see it.

That said:
Why can't they show the trailer with a movie that I actually want to see?
"The Spirit", perhaps.
Or "The Tale of Despereaux".

Any comments about my choice of viewing material will be relentlessly saavedro'd.
(For the non-Mystfans, it involves a large stone hammer. :P )

I saw this early yesterday and searched high and low for this "local newspaper" that KevKev got this info. I searched for so long I forgot to post the story, but never did find a real source.

None the less, I find it satisfying in its own that Nelson was wrong about the release date for the teaser trailer.

Nelson mentioned November as a good time back in July..... maybe back then the plan was to release it last month and, for some reason, something changed that plan?

crud happens, plans change. I mean did anyone plan for Shia to bust his hand up halfweay through filming?

actually this has the smell of truth about it.

the film is definetly due a trailer and weve seen trek and alot of next years supposed "blockbusters" already. but the bit that makes me tend to err on the side of this being on the level is the fact its being released with "the day the earth stood still".


its a SCI/FI film !

think about it, what better vehicle before the years end to put it infront of? odds are people that'll pay to see that will go to see TF2. certainly many more than who'd go to see quantum of solace.

either way guess we'll find out by the 12th :grin:

Some sick part of me wants to see "The Day The Earth Stood Still" anyway, so if this actually ends up being true, I'll be ecstatic. Otherwise, eh, there'll be a trailer eventually.

I pray to god that it turns out to be true. Especially more so if they show it at the universal city walk imax.
