I love these even more now :D Next year will be a busy year for me. I'm personally not bothered by any member changes as I plan my collection around what looks visually appealing to me...Plus I freaking love gesalts of all kinds.

That Superion is everything I have ever wanted in a combiner. But why did they miss form him by leaving Airraid out?

Interesting... it looks like the combiner's hands and feet are the same part that can transform. I love Superion, and I'm seriously debating whether or not to get the Stunticons to display separately.

If Prowl is any indication, you should pay import prices ;)

What's wrong with the domestic prowl release? I thought there were no major changes between them reported so far. Has something come up?
Hasbro's MP Prowl costs more than Takara's MP Prowl, even when import prices are factored into the cost.

Really? I thought it was $60 and change. I paid $80+ from BBTS for the Amazon exclusive with one launcher and the coin.

Honestly, I'm just glad they aren't trying to force the integration of the appendages into the figures themselves. They tried that with Fall of Cybetron Bruticus, and we all know how well that turned out.

I am liking the direction of the new deluxe. The style and details Hasbro is pulling off are really something. I know it comes at the cost of more simple transformations. But I am more than willing to pay that price if the figures are look more complete and like actual action figures like they do here. It will be an exciting year in 2015 indeed :)

I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. Warrior Class Bumblebee is awesome. I'm love struck with Underbite's mold and colors. The Aerialbots Silverbolt, Air Raid, Skydive, Alpha Bravo, and Firefly? Firefly sounds like a big trademark fight that Hasbro won.

Motormaster looks WAY better in that mold than Optimus does. Though I wonder, if Optimus is using a Combiner Torso mold, will he be able to combine with the Arialbots? Will the Limb-bots be modular "Scramble City" style?

OR are we going to see updates to Prime's drones from TF: Energon?

You have to know where to look. Some folks managed to get theirs between $45-$60 total. Hasbro's MP Prowl is gonna have a $70 base price, which TRU will undoubted up the price even further.

But, it looks like those are in fact the Arialbots, and they do appear to work as in the days of old.

Sometimes there isn't enough WANT in the world.

Yeah, changing Slingshot to a copter is a tough choice but I suspect this might be a marketing choice (mums not wanting to buy a toy plane for their kids when "you already have enough planes"). From the Geewun perspective it's a whiff but from the objective perspective of having a slightly less homogenous looking set of figures on shelves it's smart, and there's already more than enough homage in these sets to go around. The other four Aerialbots look mouth-wateringly good AND homage-y.

The same for Wildrider. I am reaaaaaaaally hoping for a Technobot set.

ergh.... am i the only one who is sick and tired of the same Bumblebee=Camaro/movie type mold all over again?

i mean, come on, even the new alt mode's angles and proportions look eerily similar to TF:Prime Bumblebee, who is itself a reimagining of the movieverse Bumblebee. and look at the bot modes of the new series, even the faces look similar to TF:Prime. can't Hasbro come up with something more original???

i really went from being giddy at the 2007 movie reintroduction of Bumblebee to being frustrated at each iteration as it went further into the series... and when the TF:Prime Bee came too close to Bayverse style, even mimicking the no-voice box gimmick, i was absolutely devastated. yep, i really really hated the TF:Prime Bee and his human compatriot.

if the new Bee will get his voice box scrambled anytime in the new series, i'm gonna be all over the place.

/*end rant

It's the same guy. RID is the sequel to Prime. Bumblebee having a body in RID similar to his Prime body is no less strange than the body he has in Rescue Bots. It's all the same person.

With the theme of the line being "Combiner Wars", it's very well possible that the remaining toys are gonna be more Combiner molds. 16 Deluxes and 6 Voyagers are coming out of this, after all. ;)

Actually, there could be a chance for an Abominus and a Piranacon. I would also like a Devastator, Defensor, Bruticus, Computron, and Monstructor set. There can't be two combiners for one mini-Generations series. I don't think.

Also, loving Superion even more now that the individual bots have been revealed. I also appreciate how the combiner ports in their chests were designed to actually blend in and look good. This is exciting.

If some of this were true, I would highly doubt that Motormaster, Breakdown, and Offroad would have retools for Protectobots because they have different alternate modes. If that's not the case, then have the Seacons be a repaint of the Aerialbots.

seriously while he looks like a new mold he at least looks inspired by the either the first edition Vehicons or the cyberverse air vehicon with wheels.

RiD'15 -- meh, everyone seems so samey. People genuinely believe BB's a reuse of the Vehicon mold, that ain't good.

Kreons -- interesting, though unless they make the big bots that way I'll be passing on them. Then again I already got plain Kreon versions of Trypticon and Scorponok, dunno if I'd want another version of them...

Combiners -- pretty cool, though I really don't care for those two particular teams, the feet/hands being separate parts (but I get why they did that), or the seemingly standardized robot forms for the limb bots. And look at all that robot junk under the jet modes, ugh.
'Course, I'd go crazy for animal/monster combiners.

That Slingshot helicopter and Wildrider truck is just plain wrong. It's like if Hasbro did it on purpose. They basically said, lets nail 4 and get the 5th one all wrong just to piss off the fans. It's always something with Hasbro. If they are scramble city, we can always hope Funpub makes good on where Hasbro failed. A proper Slingshot repaint with retooled wings from the Fireflight mold. And a repaint of Breakdown with a new Wildrider head. And maybe Dr. Wu can make a new head that looks more like Menasor and less like Unicron.
