Seibertron.com previously reported here that McDonald's restaurants in Mexico were running a special promotion for the Transformers Animated line. Happy Meals will include exclusive TF Animated figures, but these figures will differ from the toys that were released in the U.S..

Victor Hernandez, resident informant for Seibertron.com, has provided us with a still picture of the figures from a commercial that aired just for our neighbors to the south. Here's what he had to share:

I have uploaded the picture showing the Animated toys. Expect more pictures when Mcdonald's updates its site and when I get the toys.

Damn, those guys have been hitting the Happy Meals. Kid's gonna open his bag up to find Optimus looking up, french fry dangling out of his mouth, "Oh hi. Didn't think you'd want the fries, so I dug in. Hope you don't mind."

Reminds me of that Simpsons episode where someone was making a movie, and they couldn't afford to hire Steven Spielberg, so they had to settle for his "non-union Mexican counterpart", Senor Steven Spielbergo.

Looks like Megs will do more than lay down on his tummy this time!

I think the "squat" look of the figures has something to do with it being a picture of a television, not sure. :-?

... This certainly puts Jetfire and Jetstorm in perspective.

That's not Animated Prime. That's Energon Prime.

So it turns out these are like those old G1 flipper dudes, where you folded them in half and pulled them back, and they'd zip along the floor and then flip open. (I still have one, and he works, except he doesn't have enough oomph to make it to his feet, so he just pops open and lays on his back.)
