so we can frinally those cons whose boss
First tip: Don't do cross level missions. High level cons like egging on low level Bots because they know they dont stand a chance against equal level Bots. So they rant, talk smack about how they "can't level down enough to fight" and blah blah blah. Don't buy that crap. Fight at your level. Master it, increase your skills, then handle the enemy accordingly.

2. Im sorry First Gen, but i dont share ur opinion. It is okay to stay fighting in ur level missions, but going into a cross level often is good, i know its a risk, but a worthy one. U can chose half of ur team to go into those cross levels and the other half can stay at their level, so u wont have energon loses so dramatically.
3. I like ur actitude Wheelie, never hold back against a high level con even if u know ur chances r really reduced
4. I want HMW back now!

The benefit is that you can gain massive xp (although my highest gain has only been just over 2000)
However, the downside is that cr chambers beckon after almost every mission.
The best thing to do is be sensible about which mission to enter. For example, a sonic wastes mission where the majority of 'cons are a higher level than the highest level bot would be certain suicide. However, one where we out-level the 'cons may be worth a shot, as a win for us would be likely, bringing with it the possibility of not being stasis locked.
Another one that I would consider entering would be a mission with a span of only a couple of levels, such as the defend planet beast missions. With the right setup, and some high level backup, it is possible to stay functional and gain a lot of xp. Very often in these sort of missions, my level 1 bots outscore some of the level 2 and 3 ones.
However, there is something to be said for single level missions. As long as its a fully populated mission, the potential for large xp gains is there. I've been earning upwards of 700xp in some of these missions. Once again this is related to setup, but cannot be done without backup to take some of the shots away from you.
In conclusion, cross-level missions can be a good thing, but you have to be sensible about entering them.
Hope people find this useful (sorry for the length)

Just follow what Jazz says and be smart about missions. You want to gain regardless of winning or losing.

.
4. I want HMW back now!, hehe ^^.
I completely understand what you're saying. I know XP gains can be massive in those missions, but dont go into one wear ur gonna get slaughtered without even landing a hit, is all Im saying.

Don't forget: u keep going into cross level missions such as Sonic Waste & before too long, it'll just be you & a bunch of lower levels getting shut-out.
Why?
B/c there are some upper level bots who are tired of getting creamed while too many lower level bots are aching to get 1 hit on an upper level con.
Stick with that trend, & you'll soon wear your upper-level help out like cheap candy.
Truth is, our upper level bots (when mobilized) can hand the cons' aft back to them on their skid plates, but with all the lower levels trying to play 'risk' on the battlefield, some of the upper levels aren't going into the cross level missions. It's a vicious cycle, but i implore the lower levels to stick to their missions unless there's no other option due to the mission generator.
