Look behind Ratchet in the last 2 pics.... the second one you can see a smokestack... the last one you can see a bit of chrome form him under the truck lift....

I've just seen these on the allspark forums.

I've got to say I'm pretty pleased that we have finally seen Ratchet, and I can now rest in the knowledge that the writers haven't forgotten about him.

Some uuuuuggggglllllyyy cars there.

He is actually there. In the second photo, you can see his tail-end behind Ratchet.

The small red car might be Cliff Jumper and the ugly green car might go for Skids or perhaps a Decepticon.

It's a crying shame the cmeraman couldn't have turned right after taking that first picture.....

There's more vehicles at this shoot......Wonder who or what they are?

If you remember the call sheet... it said that the Twins were at the Smithsonian shoot..... the green car was definately there... along with possibly the Traxx.

Good to see Landmine is back. I wonder who the silver, almost Cybertronian looking, car is. Jazz? Tracks? Arcee?

Anyway the new cars are looking pretty good.

I wonder if these are all the cars used during this shoot? It's shaping up to be a big battle if Prime, Ironihde, Ratchet and three other Autobots are there.

And where the hell is Arcee? No spy pics of her yet at all! I find it hard to believe they would commission a guy to build a whole bunch of expensive, one-of-a-kind bikes if they were only going to use Arcee for the opening scenes they shot with her in Bethlehem...

Arcee is probalby packed up already.... Same as Bumble Bee

What's so ugly about the green car? I kinda like it. Also, I think the apparent size difference between the two green cars is just because one's closer to the camera than the other. I can't really see why they'd want one to be bigger than the other.

I still don't like the Spyders, but it does look like they'll be popping up a good bit in the movie. Oh well.

I say the silver car is Jazz. Yes i still think he's coming back. The color looks identical to Jazz's in the first movie. And that kind of car fits his style.

The smokestackes aren't circumsized. It has been established before in a few other topics that pictures of prime being transported that the smokestack extensions are removed so they don't hit bridges or other underpasses as the truck is being transported. During filming, he'll have his full smokestacks.

yea Ratchet is back, but does anyone notice the second silver car behind the concept one? looks like a newer vette, any ideas?

Both the silver cars are the same car design... possibly a Vette concept...

While it is clearer than the other shot we saw, these new ones are a much better view, especially since the one you linked to is in a paint booth and taped off.

Prime is actually suprisingly small for a peterbuilt.

The pics are great, I wish we had names though :-?

i personally think the first view we saw is better, i think you get a better idea of the car when you can see the front of it rather than the profile. but either way, it's a kick ass car.

Wasn't it announced by SAAB that Wheeljack was going to be their SAAB Aero X concept car?

This concept car was also spotted, according to eye witness reports (no photos), during the Bethlehem shoot - the call sheet for which listed "Ironhide" "Arcee" "The Twins" "Audi R8" and "Stinger"

He's obviously not Ironhide.

Obviously not an Audi R8.

So he must [i:2jarvb3l]OBVIOUSLY[/i:2jarvb3l] be this character "Stinger" - which I hope is a placeholder name, because the Autobots don't need so many new characters. I rather they just slap an old, classic name on him that make him some creation by Bay and the writers... Silverstreak maybe?

if they are placeholder names, i bet jetfire is actually soundwave and stinger is blurr.
as for un-named characters,the trax could be trax(spelled differently for trademark reasons).
the beat would make a good brawn,the saab could be wheeljack,the twins could be, in my opinion twincast or twintwist and the audi r8 could be a stunticon.

I don't know what photo you're looking at but Ratchet is exactly the same.

They also talk about NEST vehicles. My guess is that at least one Autobot is one of them--the H4 maybe?

it seems the autobots might be split up in the sequel. BB with the trax, beat, corvette. Prime with ratchet and Ironhide, and the rest.

Hod Rod??? Hum interesting... Perhaps it could be him... Only in a different color (like they ve changed IronHide s colors, Ratchet s... Even Prime s...) Point is, that car looks awesome and would definately fit Hot Rod s character as a young courageous flashy young Autobot Leader (if Prime dies and gives him the Matrix...like in the cartoons...) Anyway, I d rather it be Hot rod than Wheeljack cuz wheejack s character fits more the AudiR8 car... Yep, but I ve eard rumors about a Stinger new character... Could be him too.. Damn I cant wait to see this movie!!!! Hope the twins are Cliffjumper and his ''new reveiled'' twin brother...

I hope they don't waste this nice car on some new character. I didn't mind them bringing Barricade as a new character in TF1 since he was cool, but they have to at least leave room for some classic characters - especially for the Autobots who have, arguably, a larger amount of classic characters to chose from.

I don't like the way the Autobot cast for the sequel is shaping up. The Beat and Trax may be new characters, the Corvette thing may be a new character, "Wheels" (unless they make him Wheelie, which would kind of make sense) - already that's four out of the five (or six if you count Jetfire) confirmed Autobots that are new characters!

So is Arcee going to be the [i:2mwh3lox]ONLY[/i:2mwh3lox] TF2 Autobot with previous incarnations?

Ratchet is exactly the same, and so is Ironhide. Ironhide's vehicle mode is a mammoth of a truck (GMC Topkick). This is truly one of the few vehicles that you can sit in and look down on an H2 (which is what Ratchet is).

W00t Cliffjumper and Wheeljack, yes! Also Landmine that is a really nice figure, good to see Michael Bay is putting him in there. I am wondering though if he will actually be called Landmine. He might call him Hound or Beachcomber as those are genuine G1 names.
