“I’m working right now,” Shia said during an interview to promote his upcoming thriller “Eagle Eye.” “We propped [my hand] together so I could get through ‘Transformers’ and then I’ll go have another surgery and be back to 100 percent.”
When asked about his hand and fingers current condition, this is what he had to say: “They’re good. They’re broken.”
Shia then went on to say of how production for the upcoming sequel really didn't suffer because of the incident and that he was back on set 2 to 3 weeks prior than anticipated. Shia then went on to say how grateful he was that it was just his hand and not more that was injured.
