The Knightshift has received a Thankyou email from Steve Jablonsky, the composer of the Transformers Movie Score, for all the support for getting the Movie Score released:
Hey Chris,
My assistant forwarded your email to me a while back. I checked out your petition, and I wanted to personally thank you and everyone that signed. Support from fans like you really means a lot to me, and it makes me very happy that so many people enjoyed the Transformers score. Sorry it has taken so long to get it released. A score release was always in the works, it just took a while to pull everything together. But I'm glad it's finally coming out.
So thank you again, and a big thanks to the thousands who signed. Feel free to post this on your site or blog or wherever you like, so I can pass along thanks to everyone.

Steve Jablonsky thanking the fans? That's very sweet of him, but I think fans should be thanking HIM for composing such a great score that does justice to our beloved franchise. I hope the fans' voices were enough to collectively "thank" him for such great music (without his touch, the Autobot arrival scene would have been nowhere near as breathtaking and moving as it was).
So in short, thank you to Mr. Jablonsky for thanking us! Though I think he should thank himself, and all the musiciens for doing such a great job with the Transformers score. He deserves the biggest pat on the back here...

Transformers: The Score is currently at #58 on Amazon's music sales rank. It was #102 earlier this afternoon and has been rising all day.

Well... we really didn't "change" anything, as he stated that "A score release was always in the works, it just took a while to pull everything together," however, it is nice to see him connecting with the fans.

In the next few hours we will begin the auction on eBay for the copy of TRANSFORMERS: THE SCORE signed by Steve Jablonsky. All proceeds from this auction will be going to benefit music education in the Rockingham County (North Carolina) schools. Will let y'all know when it's up
