This would be attractive if Takara didn't release the exact same thing as Hasbro...

Isn't that the same Arcee that came with HA Skids?

Nope, it's the Legends Class figure, which you'll be seeing in our galleries shortly.

So what's up with those repaints of ROTF Prime and Bumblebee? Are they just the same as the Legends Recon Bumbebee and Jetpower Prime? Or are they something different?

I remember in the last wave the Japanese got exclusive battle-damage redecos of the ROTF Prime and Megatron moulds - are these two also going to be EZ Exclusives? Maybe it's just the crummy photography, but that Bee looks a tad metallic to me.

When it comes to Takara, ROTF Legends, and Repaints, I don't even want to know. Heck, they could probably be the freaking same.

Haven't we all? I remember when we first got the pictures of Takara's Wave 2. All the early promo photos showed that Sideways was going to have some extra red paint on his legs. Not a huge difference, but a big enough one for those who like to own all the variants.

So I go out and buy a standard Sideways, and get the EZ version as well... whaddya know, they were identical! No red paint on the legs!

Certainly that Bumblebee is not the same as Recon Bumblebee - no Nest logo on the hood, no abstract design on the car doors. If we accept this picture at face value, then it looks like we got ourselves some new variants on our hands.

But the question is, having been caught out before with Sideways, can we really trust this photo?

Yep, I just bought Wheelie, Soundwave, Power Armor Prime (or whatever) and Bluesteel Sideswipe about two weeks ago.

I have decided that I actually favor many of the Legends over the Scouts. That Sideswipe is great, and wheelie is awesome just because he is a far more proportionate size. I even like the feel of the Legends better than the Scouts.
