Takara Tomy has updated their website with new information on Transformers.
Firstly Takara has revamped the webpage for Transformers Alternity toy series and include the information for Transformers Alternity Bumblebee.
Other new information are updating of Transformers Revenge of The Fallen toy section, with figures such as RA 24 Buster Optimus Prime, RA 25 Human Alliance Skids, Arcee and Mikaela and others.
The website also updated the interview section with new Transformers designers, this time is interview with Hirinori Kobayashi.
Mr. Kobayashi is famous for his work on Transformers ROTF Buster Prime, EZ Devastator, Masterpiece Grimlock and Armada Unicorn.
Unfortunately the interview is in Japanese, we hope to see translation of the interview soon.

Cool. Now I just hope someone does a gallery of Alternity BB before BBTS gets him in stock so I can decide whether to keep my preorder. So far it's looking like a yes, the chubbiness isn't bothering me too much...

Well Alternity comes out on the 9th I believe... I'm sure there's someone fortunate enough(and there always is) who will get the figure before the release date..... Or maybe not. Takara has been pretty tight with factory security lately.

The 9th? To the best of my knowledge it's scheduled to come out this coming Thursday, or at the very latest, "late November." If it is this Thursday, I have the day off so I'll be getting the figure asap and reviewing it for your good selves.

After examining this figure I can now state that I have gone from passing on this to being on the fence. Have to wait and see what Diem says about it!

Heh, that puts the pressure on. I'm less optimistic about these guys than their Alternity precursors, so my review will probably be a little harsher! But who knows, I might be pleasantly surprised.
I'm planning to get Cliff rather than Bumble, since I already have four different Bumblebees and only one Cliffjumper.

I'm a big Alternity fan and I've been faithful to the chunky Hornhead since nearly the beginning of the figure's announcement so I must get it. I want to get Cliff too. The added bonus is that the head sculpt is different so I'm not just getting a repainted figure.
I just hope that scale is maintained. From previous photos of Alternity Bumble and Alternity Megatron in the same display, Bumble looks a bit big. That may have been an issue with distortion of perspective, though, so here's hoping we don't get a giant Bumble to tower over Alternity Convoy and Megatron.
Anyone care to speculate what the third paint job of the mold will be? I'm assuming there will be a third paint job since that's the trend started by Convoy and Megatron, both of which have 3 paint jobs each.

Goldbug (actually gold), G2 Bumblebee, Bugbite,Glyph, Tapout, or some kind of black Bumblebee like the rare keychain.

Cool alternate paint job candidates! Hmm, I hope the third paint job also has a retooled head sculpt. Like if it was Goldbug, give it an updated Goldbug head. 
That way, I'd definitely would want to get all three figures and feel less guilty about having three $50 figures, hehe.

cant wait i have both preordered all i ask that takara stick to the solid color schemes love the color choices so far stay away from patterns and if you do bugbite make him pearl white.

Much as I dislike repaints the Goldbug idea is good. The various Prime/Meg repaints are for different dimensional incarnations so I'd say a non-retooled repaint in that direction is likely for all characters in this line.

Okay, colour me stupid. Bumble and Cliff didn't come out today. For Henkei etc. the release date was always the last Thursday of the month but ROTF screwed up the schedule. The new Alternitys are scheduled to come out "late November" according to the Takara Tomy website and the Japanese toy magazines, so I'm now theorising a November 31st release.

A November 31st release date would be worse than February 29th!
