Dang, I was calling Wal-Mart!
Seriously though, not surprised. I mean, they don't fit in any standard assortment (Deluxe Voyager or Ultra) so they'd have to be exclusives... Right?
Bruticus is definitely the better of the two, but now I'm more inclined to the original Energon version... Who has one?

I'm not completely surprised, though I was hoping they;d be a general release.
Still, why can't anybody put Bruticus's hand on right. And Superion's leg is also wrongly assembled.

Not surprised they're exclusives, but I figured they would be WM exclusives like Classics Devastator. Target has been getting some nice exclusives lately.

This isn't bad news for me. I prefer shopping at Target.
Besides, now I can buy both of the combiners and the legends 5-pack at the same time.

There's a Target here, so if I see them and like them, I'll be able to pick them up. I'm currently planning on skipping them. Slim chance I'll get Superion.

Are you asking for sale or for opinions. If the former, I'm not parting with mine, so that should tell you something about the latter.

As cool as this is, I was hopeing the limbs would be sold as the scout class again. I'm just missing three of them to finnish my Bruticus from Energon, I don't really need another incomplete one..

I will be buying both of these. I never got the G1 combiners, so this is about as close as I am going to get.
Do people have an issue shopping at Target? I am really curious about this. I have had only good experiences shopping there. The employees are always pleasant and the stores are always clean and organized. That is not always the case at TRU and Wallmart in my experience.

I think the issue is, and I may be wrong here, but there's no Targets in Canada. This makes it difficult for our Canadian friends to get a hold of without resorting to alternative markets.
Not sure about the rest of the world, but I imagine this complicates things for others as well.

I was not aware of the lack of Target in Canada. They built three Target stores in the past 3 years in the Harrisburg area. We also have 2 Walmarts, and 2 TRU's. The only problems I have had with exclusives is with Walmart. We got no masterpeice Starscreams and no Devestators at either Walmart.

I guess you could say it's "bad news" because it makes it a little bit harder to get them, but on the other hand it makes them more rare and special. But you can order them from the Target website, so it's not nearly as bad as those in-store-only exclusives.

Assuming you find the ones you're missing on eBay, you'll probably pay anywhere from $15 to $30 for EACH of them. It would cheaper (and quicker and easier) to get one of these complete new sets. Then you could mix and match with your existing ones.

Thanks for thinking of us up here in the soon to be Great White North. All Target exclusives are going to be available at Zellers here so we will be getting these as well. More often than not we get them before the US (based on the Ratbat/Springer two pack release).

I really don't want to get up at the a**-crack of dawn to get these, but I also don't want to pass them up - imperfect though they may be.

Personally, I'm thrilled that these are Target Exclusives. Means I don't have to walk into Wallyworld - excuse me, run - for fear that the evil may somehow permeate through my skin or something.
But seriously guys, it could be worse. It could be a Costco or Sam's Club exclusive, or some other store that you actually have to pay to shop at.

Very true. If these had to be exclusives, I'm glad that Target got them - at least I won't have to go to four different stores to find one that decided to get some in stock. I'm looking at you Walmart!

You forget: before the revelation of the Bruticus giftset a fifth wave of Target exclusive Scouts was discovered. That wave included redecos of the two Bruticus limbs, named Decepticon Reverb and Gunbarrel (and a redeco of C-Lugnuts as Backtrack to be complete). They remain unreleased as of now, and no date has been given.

I take it, since the movie line is all but finished, those decos may not see the light of day anymore. Best case scenario we see them for the TF2 movie extended line, if at all.

Oh well. Looks like I'll be burning my savings even further...
