Seibertron Energon member kotoys has dropped us a note that he has uploaded new galleries featuring an unseen new repaint version of Deluxe Class Barricade as well as Voyager Class Starscream.
The new Barricade now has the China Police Force theme paint job. No further information on the availability of this toy at the moment.

Haha the blue and yellow reflective strips just goes to show how daft police cars look with them (they have them over here in the UK...they're awful!) and it proves why no transformer would ever convert into an emergency service vehicle over here!

omg, my eyes, its worse than G2 toys. No wonder Barricade wasn't in Revenge of the Fallen, he was too embarrased to come on screen.

Barricade is ugly, but is sorta interesting. I don't have the slightest desire to buy it, but it's interesting. Starscream is about as pointless as new leader Hooker Prime. Woulda made more sense to do him sans robo-tats. Still wouldn't have bought it, but I coulda at least saw SOME point to it then...and maybe, just MAYBE a possible draw to other collectors.
I just don't get the movie repaints. 90% of them are pointless and/or stupid. Almost all of them that are still the same character with a modified deco (shy of G1, and even those are sometimes iffy) are a total waste of time.

I hope that this Barricade is a special release figure for some event in Hong Kong, and not general release.
HOWEVER:
hate to admit it, but if it was done as a brit copper instead of China, I probably would buy it.

LOL G2 movie Barricade, Not interested. Now I like the Starscream but damn couldnt they have made him a new color like blue or purple instead ??? It looks like some worker forgot to drop enough brown ink in the paint bucket and the repaint was created by accident. (similar to the paint variations of deluxe Breakaway)

Haha, I too find myself strangely drawn to that Barricade--but he'll still probably be a pass. The original was good enough for me

For Hasbro's sake I will hope for something along those lines. However, if Hasbro want to sell that in America as-is, then it won't fly. If it makes sense for Takara though, then I see your point.

Hideously bright for no apparent reason, both for Barricade and Bumblebee.
And I'm I the only one to think that with a new head, these colors on the Barricade mold would have strangely worked for Movie Prowl...?
