We HAVE already seen the Bot mode - but not in color. This is the first we've seen of the alt mode.

And they did an excellent job of fitting everything in his underbody, so while it's not perfect, it's not as bad as original Voyager TFM Starscream

We've seen back of the box images too. Which showed both the robot and jet in color, and various features.

It is nice to get some more pics of the jet mode. He seems to suffer from the "I-gots-a-robot-underneath-me" syndrome that most jet transformers suffer from. It's just disguised a little better.

I can't see the pics here at work, arg. Is the underbody robot stuff as nicely done as the ROTF Voyager?

That is awesome! Makes me want to throw the crappy ROTF voyager version in the garbage.

Not bad. expecially for movieverse screamer.

personally tho ive never liked the dorritio design so there's not much chance i'll be picking him up.

Nice so far. There's under kibble but it's not terrible and understandable. Hopefully the bot mode and transformation design is good.

I sure hope Screamer's tattoo paint doesn't suck as hard as his Voyager counterpart. I love the ROTF Voyager, but how easily his paint chips disappoints me. Classics Mirage had similar problems, but only with the 'Witwicky' logo on his feet that you really have to try to rub off. Voyager ROTF Starscream's paint started coming off through very light play, and this is a big deal for me considering that, unlike Mirage, he is quite bathed in the stuff. If this one's paint can actually sustain casual use, I might grab this one, scrub Voyager Screamer clean and call him 'Starscream's Ghost' or something, and let the real Starscream occupy the larger, better paint app'd body.

I'd like a premium version of this one. A figure that's not badly done.

Hasbro, you horrible teases. I know I'm a pathetic Starscream fangirl (no, I can't explain it, don't ask, just accept it) who is going to buy this anyway, and would buy it even if it looked like vomit on a stick set on fire just because...but *meep*. This figure makes me want to do unnatural acts with it.

HK, is it legal to marry an action figure in California? I might have to move.

Hmmm, a bit more kibble than I thought, but considering that this is a Leader, it's not that surprising. Still, ignoring the slightly large undercarriage, it's a great jet mode!

This is such a freaking must-have.

The voyager is rather skinny in bot mode from the side so it's understandable that they've had to make the jet a bit thicker cos the bot does look quite substantial. I'm just really hoping the bot has swivelling wrists cos the pics so far show him with monkey arms.

Yes we have, a gray prototype, a blueish prototype and a photoshopped image. I want to know what the guy looks like in full color without photoshop.

I hope when we see his robot mode, hes compared to the other leaders which he probably will. i can't wait to put this guy to optimus and megatron!

HELL YEAH!!!!! i knew it was a good idea to not buy the voyager size i knew that there was going to be a leader class starscream does anyone know how tall he is is he taller then megatron???

They could have, but I don't know how well it would've went over. I know I sure as hell wouldn't wouldn't be buying it then. Not worth another 30-45 bucks (depending on sales) for the same fig, just about 3 inches taller.

The alt mode looks kind of chunky from the side, but that's forgivable, considering all the electronics that are packed into this thing.

I'm glad so see that the thrusters are now free of hands and heads!

The undercarriage looks rather "busy", but not too painful to the eyes. Nice paint job, too. 80% alt mode accuracy is quite acceptable.

Overall, it's a must-buy for me.

Looks good. While he does have some underside kibble, it's nowhere near as bad as the movie 1 voyager. I'll gladly pick him up.

It always makes me think "How are they gonna top this?" when I look at ROTF Prime and now Starscream. Looking at the progression from movie 1 Prime to ROTF Prime and the same for Starscream, I can't imagine how insanely complicated of a transformation TF3 figures will have. Or better yet, I can't imagine how amazingly screen accurate they will be. Or how expensive...

Sold. I want SS right now. And MP Skywarp. Only have 3 movie toys & this will be #4. I like jets (have all the ERTL Force Ones die-cast) and this will be my first replica/toy of an F-22. Sweet.
