Another Transformers 3 filming location has been revealed today. As updated on Florida Space Coasts' twitter, Michael Bay and company will be in the sunshine state shooting the film in September. So far, only Chicago, Illinois has been confirmed as one of the many Transformers 3 shooting locations.

Hum....space.
Told you guys, Armageddon meets Transformers.
There could be three reasons for this....
Nest desired to set up a orbital defense again further invasion as seen in ROTF. Hopefully this will result in a massive fight with Soundwave.
Nest and A-Bots are being rocketed out to address Megatrons Mars base of Operations. We will get more fights with mindless carbon copy drones which I won't be too excited about.
Unicron. And being we all know Bay to be a liar, "As the Recent Twins rumor proved", Unicron will at the least be addressed and mentioned, possibly being set up for a plot device in a 4th film. All of course directed and starring new cast (Fully Grown versions of Sam and Mikaela).

Thank goodness I wasn't the only one to make that mistake. Now if they actually were to do that, it would beat any script possibility that we have heard of so far (or probably will hear about).
As for why they may be at Space Coast? My vote is that Leo and the Twins have been "volunteered" for an infiltration mission involving Megatrons Mars Base. It is, of course, a one way trip.

Funny enough with the thought's of Autobots going on the offensive, and heading to space, my first thought was that the Decepticons would be attacking to remove the ability for NEST/NASA/USAF whatever to strike in exactly that fashion.

I heard somewhere that alot of TF3 was supposed to be on the moon. I hope there is a final battle on the moon though! Given theres no oxygen to make explosions or any air particles for sound to bounce off of, I bet people will complain about that. If Star Wars can get away with it, why cant Transformers?
