We have a couple of "Transformers 4" Michigan filming updates to share. First, The Lansing State Journal is reporting possible filming on the decommissioned Coast Guard ship Bramble, which currently calls the Seaway Terminal home. Bob Klingler, the ships current owner, has been contacted by Paramount's production team about filming scenes on the ship. Nothing has been confirmed at this point, but we'll update when/if this materializes.

“We’ve been approached, and we sat down and talked, and we’re waiting for a decision,” he said.

“... If this Paramount Pictures thing comes and we get a call today, it’ll be a red-letter day. It’s such a historic and beautiful vessel. It’s just incredible.

Next, the Lenawee County's Daily Telegram reports that scenes will be filmed new the Fairfield Township on a section of M-52 between Weston and Mulberry Roads later this month.

Initially they were searching for a four-lane highway,” he said. They settled for the wide two-lane stretch of M-52 after no four-lane roads were available that could be closed for four days. The M-52 site also has the wheatfields they wanted for background
