Also like, what with how big and stylized "Over-Run"s name is on the box, I don't think Reprolabels are gonna make a replacement Runabout sticker for it.

UltraPrimal wrote:Looks like Drift has Snake Eyes's symbol on his swords. So does that mean there's a Shattered Glass GI Joe? Where evil American terrorist organization known as GI Joe fight the heroic, highly-trained, secret team of international soldiers known as COBRA? Haha! Maybe FunPub should quit it with the SG Transformers and just do SG GI Joe instead.
The Joe's do exist in the SG universe. I have to re-read some of the fiction, but I think the president is Colton (the original Joe), I think Hawk is the VP, and Hauser "Duke" is the secretary of Defense.

If you've looked at the pics of SG Soundwave from this year's set, I'd almost lay money that SG G.I. Joe ties in somewhere, either in this comic or a future one.
Also, at a prior BotCon they mentioned that the Shattered Glass Universe started as a concept they originally wanted to do with GI Joe so a full SG Joe set is probably not far behind.
As far as these figures go, the special box is a nice touch, although the name on the front (I realize it wasn't their choice) is not.

2 pack boxset of the two idiots that accidentally reactivate Sunstorm = Irresistible force of geek nature.

Still totally in on SG Drift. The fact that they used one of Deadpool's classic poses for the art was a great touch.

So, in all, I have spent $171.90 for 2 deluxe figures. If a brit wants to pay me half this once customs are factored in, we will have a deal. It will be cheaper than buying one from the collector's club direct. Don't call me a scalper
