Transformers Comic Releases October 8th 2008

Monday, October 6th, 2008 5:12PM CDT

Thanks to RyallTime, the blog of IDW Publishing's Editor in Chief Chris Ryall, we have the full rundown of Transformers Comics to be released this week on Wednesday the 8th of October 2008.

This week will see the release of one Trade, one Artbook, and two individual comic issues, including the final issue of the Simon Furman penned "-tion" series that started back in 2005:

Transformers Spotlight: Sideswipe
Transformers Animated: The Arrival #3
Transformers Best of the UK: Space Pirates TPB
Art of Transformers TPB

And from IDW's Transformers Editor Denton Tipton's Blog From the Tip, we have confirmation that next week, on the 15th of October 2008, there will be a respite with no Transformers Comic releases. There will however be 2 Transformers releases the following week, Wednesday the 22nd of October 2008.

I'd love an "Ark compendium"-like book of IDW's various TF redesigns. Things like Nick Roche's Hot Rod and Dinobots, E.J. Su's Infiltration-run designs, whoever designed all the Pretenders etc. Think there's any chance of getting a book like that?

From the looks of it either IDW have not alerted Diamond Comics of what is to be released on the 15th or they dont have anything coming out. Releases for 15th October.
