Y'know, the last time I posted, I was going to make a little smart ass comment about "well, Countdown to Extinction may be a coincedence, but if one of the next events is called Heavy Metal War, then my eyebrows are going up." I figured the odds of that happening being so remote that it wasn't even worth the mention.

I am officially extremely amused by the coincidences. :D

I might skip this one. I spent a few bucks to try and get some good cards in the episode space bridge in Day of the Dinobots and got shite! Nothin but 3's. Not to mention money spent on battle cubes in hopes of bolstering my Dino team. Spent around 20 bucks in total. Not worth it.
Taking a break from this game. Till the next episode at least.

Anybody know how to delete your account?

I decided to quit this game after it bored me too much to let it continue to slow down my phone and eat up my battery the way it does.

I tried doing it through the game itself, but that just sent me round and round in circles while getting slower and slower.

I spent a dollar and got a 3X Long Haul card. Then I stupidly spent another $3 and got two 3s. It really pissed me off and now I'm barely playing it. My rank is around 14000. I consistently finished between 1,500 and 7,000 previously.

It feels like the rewards are getting diluted and the cost to compete is going up. The raid cards this time around are just the 3x Long Haul cards. The biggest issue i have with that is you need to get 2,000,000 points to get the robot mode of the Long Haul. A lot of good the card does you at that point. I might be out after this. Too much money and it gets less fun as they make it more difficult.

That's normal for these kinds of games, they are free, they make it easy to get cool stuff and level up in the beginning. But the longer you play the harder it is to maintain your "success" and thus forcing you to spend more and more money on it to keep playing.

Same goes for all the Facebook games, and those are all dieing now.

You kept typing long haul but you mean 3x bonecrusher correct? Long Haul is the 10x card this event.

Game seems to have suffered from the developers recent decisions. Had a ton of cubes to burn, and was casually considering shooting for Wheeljack. Did not seem like there were as many high value bosses to put in on and after hovering around 5k with 10 hours left I got bored and quit looking. Fully expected to fall out of the Brawn bracket, but still finish in that range. Figured I would get pushed out like last episode where the same thing happened but didn't.

Also it hurt them to not offer the 30$ guaranteed Hook card off the bat. Unlikely I would have bit on it like I did with Sideswipe, but when it popped up on day 3 I just laughed. These guys are getting way, way to greedy.

I gave up. Ended up with 50 gold coins for all my troubles.

Honestly, that Ironhide boss was ridiculous. 500 people were needed to take it down, it made absolutely no difference to the leaderboard for us lower pleebs, and because Ironhide was around, no one gave a rats arse about helping out with any other bosses.

It's become a joke.

I've completely checked out on this game. I didn't play the Dinobot episode at all. I totally forgot about what day it ended. So I missed all of that episode and the start of this episode. I checked in on Saturday (or was it Sunday?) to see a new episode already started. I figured I'd play a little to build up my cubes for a run at another episode down the road. I managed a little but couldn't see to muster the dedication required to take it seriously. I finished in the 50,000s and got some sweet silver medals for my efforts.

Since I haven't actually finished an episode since R5s became a thing, I've got a few questions. Is it any harder getting top 1500 with those bosses out there and the existence of 10X bonuses? Is the game completely impossible now without spending money or is achieving the second best prize still a possibility without throwing away cash? How many scanned 10Xs are out there during the episodes?

Looks like a Galvatron episode starts later. Wonder if we'll see a Rodimus or Magnus card to go with it.

Our friends at DeNA dropped by to let us know about the latest event for their Transformers: Legends mobile device game, "All Hail Galvatron". The event starts today and runs through the 28th. Details and character art can be found below.

[quote]DeNA and HASBRO are continuing their special in-game events for the action card battle mobile game TRANSFORMERS: LEGENDS. Beginning today, Friday, June 21st at 5 pm PT through June 28th at 5 pm PT, players can participate in the All Hail Galvatron in-game event and witness the debut of fan favorite character Rodimus, in an effort to stop a monstrous Galvatron.

About the All Hail Galvatron Event

Megatron has been reborn as a stronger, more ruthless and completely unhinged Galvatron! With total control over the Decepticons, Galvatron is leading an assault on the Autobots. However, Rodimus along with Ultra Magnus and Sergeant Kup have vowed to stop Galvatron at all costs. Who will be victorious in this intense face-off?

Yes.

The worst thing they did was introduce an Ironhide that had 500 million hit points and required on average 500 people to take down (you could invite allies even if you didn't spawn the boss) and everyone got 20,000 points for it which made moving on the leaderboard pointless because everyone was getting a share.

And now they've thrown out a Ultra Magnus card. *sigh* Bastards.

That's kinda the point behind it, you get it for free, play it, have fun, get invested in it that you want to spend money on it.
I mean what did you expect they gotta earn money someway.

There's making money ... but then there's also being blatant rip-offs.

Given how much you have to invest to get those cards, you could use that money on a console game which can be played on a bigger screen, with other people, and generally give you a much better gaming experience.

If they lowered their costs they'd get more people investing and playing.

And all of that is irrelevant as most people are reluctant to invest these days due to the alleged hacking and cheating that they continue to do nothing about.

I wouldn't mind dropping the coin on this game, if there actual physical cards involved. Hell I do that already with yugioh. Because at least that way I'd have something physical to show for it, not just a bunch of 0s and 1s. its the same reason I don't buy DLC for video games.

That being said, the artwork for this game is gorgeous, I'd love to see it make the jump to a physical game. and would Play/Collect the Hell out of it

reign of dragons i download i play is more popoluar than this rewards better i think i never got into competion on that game i woulndt its same concept as transfromers they added today build your own realm you can have option to pay to get better cards yes on that game some parts is rip off i keep getting other players steal my rewards how can i complete treasurer event people keep stealing from me, and some rare cards are hard to get you cant trade to get them 2 things i hate about that game so far i keep playing but transfromers legends its gone down hill you would have to spend over 2000.00 $ to stay in top 5 to get excellent card only time i play if i feel like play event to get medals when enemy gets hard to defeat you need ask for help use more than 2 battle cubes to win i stop playing cash in all my medals.

they can make money from us but there going about it all wrong it dont matter if rewards got back way they where before i still wouldnt play make more story modes stop making events for us with crappy rewards its only matter time before they do same with gijoe game there making still waiting for that to be released reign of dragons after i get my credit card payed i will probaly spend on it maybe pack, mostly for potions to trade in to get rare cards i have been doing mobage is oppsoite crappy rewards, no trading cards, weapons, think i would come back if they add trading to game
