It appears there are some variant Transformers Prime Robots in Disguise Cyberse Legion Vehicons running around out there. Allspark user Mark Montag purchased one of these little guys who came with a more detailed translucent weapon. The blade features a few additional sculpted details and a pointed end.

So even non-army-builders now have a reason to buy multiples of Vehicons? Damn. Here's hoping we get a very slight repaint of this mold in later waves, once this guy becomes too expensive and difficult to find.

Yeah, I see that coming.
I am going to pick up at least 2 more of these lil guys, since Cyberverse is the only ones I'm picking up of the Prime line, but I don't care if there is a difference or not there.

Is there only one example of this "variant"? It could be a production error. I would need to see more than one of these to consider it a variant.

I have six of these little guys and all but one are the more detailed version. The less detailed version has a thicker blade section.
I love finding about about these little things that i don't originally notice.

I've just checked and the one I picked up today has the extra detailing. Bought at Tesco in the UK if anyone is interested. Might be a running change when it's taken a couple of months for anyone to pick up on it.
