Is it just me, or is that G1 styled head looking a bit like it could be a battle mask?

I'm pretty sure its obvious that's what it is.
Some of Grimlock's toys have that battle mask (without the visor)
That and the fact that everyone and their motherboard has a battle mask in RID I'm pretty sure Grimlock will use this mask in future episode(s).

The Legion figure has the blue visor, though they painted the mask gold.

Though, I would be okay with it used as a battle mask, but so far, Grimlock hasn't had a battle mask in any of the first 14 episodes.

It's red on the final version, thankfully.TGS1985 wrote:Huh, a Yellow Autobot symbol. I don't recall every seeing one in that color. That said, I can't help but imagine it being something that would drive IDW Ultra Magnus nuts, lol.

Right, but still interesting that it was a consideration at one point in the design process.

Beware, some of these may contain spoilers, as none have aired in the US or Australia yet, and we're talking about a good advance compared to at least the US show. If you're so inclined, head below to read what's coming on June 10th and 17th on Canal J - translated from French!
16 - Sideswipe loses his head
When the latest team training session leaves Sideswipe wiped out, the young Autobot realises he cannot always rely on physical strength.
17 - Honour above all
Drift returns to Earth in pursuit of Jetstorm. Meanwhile, Bumblebee's team must face an escaped Springload and Quillfire.
18 - Grimlock's Wound
Unaware of Grimlock hiding a severe wound, Bumblebee and the team head towards the ocean in pursuit of a Decepticon.
19 - The champion
Groundpounder, an ancient gladiator become Decepticon, escapes and joins a TV fighting program. Grimlock will have to face him.
20 - Malfunction
Fixit's glitch becomes worse. Denny tries fixing it, but accidentally triggers his security programming. Fully armed, Fixit turns on the others.
21 - Siege
Steeljaw and his gang manage to enter the junkyard, and try freeing the cryofrozen Decepticons while keeping the Autobots away thanks to a sonic wave field. Our heroes will have to show cunning and strategy to enact their plan and take back their base.

As for a new Decepticon called, Groundpounder, he will face Grimlock for the very first time. Does that mean that Groundpounder will be the second rival to Grimlock, next to Underbite?
In episode #18, the entire Autobot team travels to the ocean to search for an escaped Decepticon. Could this mean the return of Hammerstrike, a brand-new Decepticon, or both?

I'm guessing it's a new one. Bumblebee and Grimlock took down Hammerstrike by themselves, so the whole team going after him doesn't seem likely.

Where does it say he wants to kill the Autobots?psj333 wrote:steeljaw is planning to free all the Decepticons and threatened to kills the Autobots if they get in his way.
Except that the ocean episode comes BEFORE the episode Steeljaw tries to free the other Decepticons.psj333 wrote:So, I`m pretty sure that we might be able to see Hammerstrike again for the second time,

So in other words, it's not a fact that he's trying to kill anyone, but is instead just your interpretation of the description.psj333 wrote:Sabrblade, in episode #21, Steeljaw is using aonic field to keep Autobots away, according to the plot description. Don't forget, Hasbro has stated that he is the most dangerous and most fearsome Decepticon to date. To me, that enough to say that Steeljaw is planning to use threats if he has to.

You're missing the point.psj333 wrote:True, Sabrblade. But even so, no matter what Steeljaw does or says, Bumblebee will do everything within his power to be sure that doesn't happen, as Bumblebee doesn't take threats too easily. As an Autobot, Bumblebee do fear nobody! But you know what? Just because of yoou being a leader, it doesn't really mean that you've been given all rights. No one really does! We must all reassure ourselves that part of Bumblebee's personality is inherited from Rodimus Prime, which means that sometimes, when anyone, including boss characters want to solve a problem, they don't think. They just react without even realizing the risk of their mission. So, if Bee wants to prevent Steeljaw from winning, he put his own life at risk. If I were him, I would wait until my enemy finish what he has to do first, before I would react. Let me ask you this: If your enemy tells you that they have a mission, and he threatens to kill you if you dare jepordize his mission, should you immediately react to this situation, or should you hold back until further notice?
You were claiming that Steeljaw wants to kill the Autobots, when that has not been the case in this show. That is what I was responding to.

In episode #18, since most of you do believe that Hammerstrike won't be in the episode that there will be a brand new sea animal Decepticon, only question remain is that is this Decepticon a fish, crustacean, or a mollusc?
In episode #19, a new Decepticon named, Groundpounder will challenge Grimlock in a televised match. Is Groundpounder also a Dinobot, like Grimlock is, or he is an entirely different large animal? If he is really a entirely different animal, I hope that he possess a vehicle mode, just like other Decepticons, excluding, Filch, Chop Shop, and formerly Grimlock.

5:30am CST is just a little too early for me.
If that time is too early, couldn't you record the episodes with a DVR or something to watch later?

Unfortunately no. We cut the cables years ago. I only have access to CN via sling tv. I'll just have to wait for netflix, hulu, or maybe the Hasbro app on the roku, hmmm... I haven't checked the Hasbro app yet. Derp
BTW, the Hasbro app is pretty sweet. Its been a while since I've fired it up and this was before the hasbro/neflix conflict, but they had quite a bit of TF content.

Awesome thanks. I'll do some back reading this evening. I thought I was keeping a close enough eye on this to catch that. I guess there really is more than meets the eye to this thread.
I'll see my way out...

It appears that "Out of Focus" really is the 13th episode while "Sideways" is really the 14th. The confusion between the two must have led to Australia accidentally airing "Sideways" in place of "Out of Focus", while Singapore aired the correct episode all along. Doesn't help that the Chinese website that aired the Chinese-dubbed episodes before all else listed the two in the opposite order.
And the English titles for episodes 15 and 16 are revealed to be "Even Robots Have Nightmares" and "Some Body, Any Body"

This is off topic, but here is the line up (same for both apps).
G1: season1, 16 episodes; S2, 49 ep; S3, 30 ep; 3 ep
Energon: S1, 15 ep
Armada: S1, 13 ep; S2, 13 ep; 14 ep
Cybertron: S1, 26 ep; S2, 26 ep
Animated: S1, 16 ep; S2, 13 ep; S3, 13 ep
Beast Wars: S1, 2 ep (just 7 & 18, weird)
The playback quality is the same as netflix. I compared a few G1 episodes.
I'm not knowledgeable enough to comment on how complete the seasons are.
If RID15 becomes available, I'll update.
