Transformers ROTF toys on sale at Target starting 6 / 28

Dude, the sale has deluxes for $8.99, not Voyagers.

What about Leader Class? I was gonna pick up Prime tomorrow, but if the price drops I'll wait 2 days.

My local Target had tons of Superion sets, but I have that already, I need Bruticus, and I'd love to get him on sale. Come on Target!

ugh, just got a ton of transformers @ target. even after the 20% off coupon, deluxes came out to be around $10. Looks like I'll have to return those and get a whole new batch of them. Probably a good thing too, I bought a whole bunch of superions, cuz I've been waiting for him so long....but man....he sucks ass =(((((((((((( I'll prolly be returning all of them.

Wasn't there a web link to print these coupons out? Does anyone know the web link? I can't seem to find the coupons when I visited the store and all the Target employees I've asked had no clue.

I don't recall these many sales on Transformer toys back in summer 07 when the first movie came out. But two years ago after the movie came out most stores near me had few TFs in stock for purchase so no difference sales or not. IMO the retail chains are playing with the price but I'm happy to save some money.

Most store didn't have sales on the TFTM figures of '07, because soon after the movie dropped there was that dreaded TF drought. There was like a good couple of months where there were no TFs and stores were rushing out old Cybertron and Classics stuff. There was that one pic of a Walmart having a sign that read there would be no TFs till October...

It'll be interesting to see what the shelves look like after this weekend, when almost everyone will have seen the movie.

Sweet, the current price is like $12 for deluxes.

So if you buy four deluxes on Sunday using the 20% off coupon, the total before tax comes out to $28.77. Compared to the NON-Sale price, that's almost like getting two free!

Great.. I just bought ROTF Voyager Megatron today at Wal-Mart, could waited and got him cheaper.

What about the Scout class figures? Does Target have Dune Runner and Scalpel in their stores yet?

I'd be all over that sale, but in my experience Target is one of the worst places for TF shopping. Walmart and Toys 'R' Us are far superior, especially with the huge displays TRUs have.

I'm sooo gonna try this sale on Sunday. Just to see what they've got. I have three Targets in my area I can scout in.


But I agree with "Autobobby1", Target and Kmart tend to be the smallest and least stocked on characters. Walmart and Toys totally pwn on that.

Here's an idea: If a certain figure that is out of stock but on sale next week, just ask for a raincheck; it will honor the sale price and will guarantee X number of figures at that price - Plus the raincheck is good at any Target store for up to 30 to 45 days I believe - I might be mistaken as they keep changing the time period for rainchecks, as they used to be good for up to 90 days!

But anyway, it won't hurt to ask
But you must ask for a raincheck each different class sizes - And the cashier will ask 'How many?'
So you could get, I dunno, 4, 5, or 6 of each class size!

As for Dune Runner and Scalpel, have not seen either yet, best check the Sightings page

I guess it does pay to have someone on the inside track who is also a TF fan!

I read about the target sales on this site but the Targets in my area neer seem to participate. They'll have the price out but no new stock, or they'll have the stock but no sale. It's like their doing it deliberately to piss me off

No Jetfire or Devastator set out yet at targets I finally found the coupons so hopefully before they dont expire befor I can get both of them.

How about instead of sales, just make these the regular price and leave it at that? When TF3 comes out, I'm just going to wait for the sales and that's it.

The economy was very different in the summer of 2007. It was bad timing that they raised the prices across the board right before the economy tanked.

You guys do realize that Target has a 2 week price match on sales.
So all you should have to do it bring your receipt in and they will
adjust the sale price.

I bought Mudflap and Ravage today because I didn't want to wait until tomorrow and risk not finding them. I'll take them back tomorrow and have them refund the difference.

I just checked target .com and They have Leader prime and leader megs for 39.99.. I thought it was a typo

I asked they wont do price adjustment if you used the coupon like i did in fear of the target by me sellin out of what i want. I was also told they will not restock the shelves this sale was intended to get rid of the shelf warming. Target had a lot of deluxes but about 8 voyagers i snagged the only voyager megatron . I may go back or go online and get Thrust, but 20.99 for a deluxe size figure is crazy.

I think it's only the DELUXE class action figures.

I just checked the online ad in my area and not only were the deluxes on sale but the leader class as well.. The leaders were back to their original 07 $39.99.. I just wish jetfire would show up, I'm gettin leader prime fo sho!

My receipt today says that a Leader for $32, $22 Superion , $7 deluxe, and $17 Hot Spot.

Sounds like you got 20% off for buying 4 figures (as per the in-store coupon).

I got Cannon Bumblebee, Rampage, and Chromia for $24.84.

yea, like everyone else said, it's the deluxes, superion, and leader that are on sale. add on the 20% on top of that, and they become pretty good prices. i returned almost all of the movie stuff that i've gotten, and picked up about 15 deluxes + superion today. then rolled over to WM and picked up 2 each of ramjet and skywarp. BIG DAY =((((((

It should be $16.18 plus tax, give or take, cuz I suck at math, LOL, for 2 Deluxes

I just picked up Scalpel AKA "The Doctor" and Dune Runner, even though they are'nt on sale, I used the 10% Off Coupon and saved $3.20; and that includes my Target Team Member discount of 10%, so I paid only $12.78 plus tax

I got to target when they were stockin the figs , The lady wouldnt just sell me an unopened case .
Still no Deva or Jetfire but I did snag Ultimate BB only because when i used the coupon and there other random figs he was only 71.99. Walmart had him for 98.88 so i saved a bunch.

First, speaking from the POV of a Target Team Member, we don't sell unopened cases, not in my district, because of theft, yep it has happened before, someone wants to "buy" a case of unopened toys, and next thing you know, BAM! they steal the whole box; and second, I believe Devastator won't be out until August of this year, but Jetfire is out there, somewhere, so I guess keep looking

How do you know about this week's ad in advance?
Cause Target does not get the new ad until Thursay, not Wednesday; I should know, I work @ Target for 5 years now

If anyone wants to get a raincheck, now would be a good time, plus the raincheck is good for 45 days
So let's say you wanna get a wave 3 or 5 figure at the sale price in August, sure, why the heck not?

I went to a different Target today, and they were cleaned out of Deluxe figures, nada, zero, bupkis!!

So, I go up to Guest Servive and asked for a raincheck for 4 Deluxes, and it's good until August 16th -I dunno if there will be any other sales at that time, but it's cool, cuz I can get up to 4 Deluxes @ $8.99 each, plus my team member discount - so each one is around $5.52, give or take, plus tax.

Yeah, working @ Target has it's perks
