A Prototype Onslaught has been put for auction on Ebay. The popular Universe Voyager figure is in test shoot colors. Onslaught still looks menacing without being all too goofy. Check out the figure below.

He doesn't look half bad (in bot mode at least) in those colors, not that I would ever consider paying that much for though.

You know that's not a half-bad idea. Onslaught is a police SWAT tank. Why not repaint him black and white like a police cars? Tada, Universe Barricade!

Maybe Hasbro had it taken down. It is their prototype after all. Their STOLEN prototype.

What does Hasbro do with their prototypes? they should auction them off for charity!

If they survive the initial QA, they're usually given to employees for personal collections

So it's possible, they aren't stolen but from the collection of lucky employees, puts my mind at rest a bit, I really liked the Voyager ROTF Megatron we saw a while back. Generally speaking, they're out of my price range.

I agree they should auction them off to charity. Ill go a step further...How about Botcon 2010 donates 10% of its profit to help the victims in Haiti.

Usually at the BotCon auctions all the money goes to the Hasbro Childrens Hospital. I don't see them changing that. Maybe for the victims of Hurricane Catrina they might have, but I don't know about people in Haiti. It's all up to what Hasbro thinks is important.
