Chinese born basketball player Yao Ming has, apparently, gotten his own Transformer! Taking the form of a basketball, this Transformer changes into a super hero type figure that resembles the NBA hoop star.

I don't get all the hate either. This isn't a Transformers licensed product and I don't see how it really infringes on anything. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy this, but if I saw it in a store somewhere I might pick it up just for the novelty of it all.
