There seems to be no end in sight to the flood of images of the new "Revenge of the Fallen" Soundwave toy. Photos of this figure seem to be popping up online on a daily basis like some sort of Transformers advent calendar. Now, Comus of ACToys.net brings us a new gallery of the figure, with crisp, clear photos that show off a few potential configuration for his "satellite" mode as well as the robot's mode poseability.

Also note how the black missile resembles the supposed leaked Ravage design from the concept art that showed Soundwave as a black Silverado. Writer Roberto Orci stated that Soundwave would not be a pick up truck, but the similarities between those leaked designs and this figure are striking.

Don't act like you're not happy bro. I do like these pics though, they show more detail then the last video, albeit it was well done.

I'm still not sure what I really think of Soundwave at this point. I'm a whore, so I know I'll buy it. But still... I need to see it up close.

Couldn't they give him longer legs? It also looks like he has the same hands as that ugly animated Jetfire figure. Other than that, I think he's cool. I will definitely buy and repaint.

The G1 Color Schemes are there. I will most likely be picking this baby up when it comes out. Still wish they did some sort of "Cassette gimmick" with him.

Lol. I can't help but think all these "Soundwave" (ugh) pics have been endlessly trickling because Hasbro KNOWS it blows.

Kind of like trying to drum up interest and slow acceptance that this thing is somehow Soundwave or a satellite.

What the hell is up with the mouth? God damn it man just give him a faceplate. Theres no way thats a teched out faceplate like that one guy said. Damn bayformer. Not all bots need to have a mouth especially Soundwave. I just hope im wrong about it i really do. But any way, it Looks like a good figure but theres no way in hell im calling it soundwave. Hate to say it but the animated Soundwave is more Soundwave than that thing. And i hate the animated Soundwave.

Amazingly, an actual one of these was on display at a specialty store I frequent. Got to fiddle with it a bit, nice articulation, but didn't try to transform it or anything. It's actually right there on the counter for people to pick up and play with. You can also buy it, if you're inclined, for $80. :lol:

It's times like this I actually FEAR for Hasbro and Takara.
We're in an age now where super-posable, super-good-looking and super-character faithful figures are becoming easy to import from Japan.

Stuff like this with no outstanding alt mode, so-so movement and TONS of junk kibble... it's not a good thing to behold.

You just have to stop and wonder what costs were used up on this figure, be it paying a character designer, sculpting it, making molds for it, manufacturing it, packaging it...

Okay, I had thought to myself I’d slack off during the next movie, but…

That is one of the best looking figures I’ve seen as of late. It’s so detailed, and just so visually impressing. I WILL be buying this.

Kudos to whomever designed this one!

It's cool it happens to me on the street too. I say something epic or life changing and BAM! people start getting tattoos of my quotes across their foreheads. 8)

Dunno what it is but as i was skimming down through the pictures I kept being reminded of that ancient Go-bot named Pincer (I think that was his name.)

Bizarre. Looks crap in both modes.

I dunno, I'm mildly warming to the bot mode (though I still don't know I can readily accept it as Soundwave,) but the alt mode remains ridiculous looking and absolutely pointless. Gotta keep up that not overly satellite looking, satellite disguise! Or maybe that mode is more conducive to orbiting...uh-huh. Sorry, still a pass...
