I'd still be up for a fembot combiner if only because it's never been done before.

I for one would love to see a "punk rock chick" theme to them. So loadsa black contrasted with bright gaudy colours, crazy "hair", spikes, studs, chains, "tattoos", and nutty alt-modes.

There's going to be like M1 Abrams, T90, Challenger 2, and Type 90 as the limbs, and probably some kind of massive tank like those from the War for Cybertron-Fall of Cybertron games as the Voyager torso. This combiner would put the Combaticons to shame.

Getting this thread back on point (and away from the girl-guy robot debate)...

I love the idea of a tank set — heavy and meched out like some of those PowerCore combiners with launchers, etc. Could be an H-tank, haft-track, normal tank, plus a few of those other unique armored things... like the ones in the micromaster sets.

Besides that, I still love the idea of a Junkion combiner, which could have a good assortment of vehicles.

While I like the idea of more femmebots, it seems like the aesthetics wouldn't work well for a combiner. I'd rather have those separate.

We got an original Dinobot combiner in PowerCore, but we still haven't seen anything like that out of insects. That's another cool idea I'd buy. Getting five new insecticon characters would be cool... and I've always loved that iconic color scheme.

Any more cool ideas, guys?

Honestly i am not sure about if Hasbro would do a fembot combiner because it wouldn't appreciate young audiences plus it would be weird to have a fembot combiner

So far for combiners we had a mystical animal combiner (abominus), race car combiner (menasor), a construction vehicle combiner, a animal combiner (predaking), a army vehicle combiner (bruticus), a sea/not real animal combiner (king Poesideon), a dinosaur combiner (dinoking/monstructor), a decepticon elite land and air team (liokraiser),etc (thats it for decepticons). We got a jet combiner (superion), a emergency vehicle combiner (defensor), a air,sea, and Land vehicle combiner (landcross), a futuristic vehicle combiner (computron), a sports car combiner (road Caesar), a train combiner (raiden), etc (thats it for the autobots). So if we are going to get a brand new orginal combiner it should be a autobot combiner because the decepticons combiners out number the autobot combiners decepticons have 7 and autobots have 5 so in my opinion hasbro should make a autobot sea vehicle combiner or a autobot space vehicle combiner

Guys its probably the best if we don't ask for a redeco plus to has to be orginal like windblade not already existing

Insects would be great, but ideally they should avoid the overused bugs like wasps, beetles, and arachnids (especially since those aren't even insects). Give me assassin bugs, cockroaches, flies/maggots, peanut bugs, fireflies... maybe the torso bot could have a real clever transformation that allows it to go from larva to adult (and maybe pupa, but that might be a tad dull).


Whatever wins, I hope they don't go for the typical choices.

Yeah, just like the construction vehicles and dinos from PowerCore, I think Hasbro would want to opt for five unused bugs or critters. There's at least six or seven more bugs that exist besides the three they've used.

I never understood the whole "genderless" argument anyways. Most Transformers are definitely male. Male pronouns, voices, builds, and names. I mean, come on. They're giant metal people. If you want genderless, go watch the first three Bay-movies.
The only time this argument is even used to begin with is when female Cybertronians are present, which, while also making the disturbing implication that male is somehow a "default", generic state, is just an excuse to be whiny and condescending because "girls are icky."

Another idea: in the Armada line, we had the Requiem Blaster. It might be possible for a full-size combiner team to form a giant gun that could destroy most targets. This would be an artillery piece rather than a hand-held gun. It's a simple concept but it could prove decisive in battle. If a humanoid form is deemed compulsory, the artillery form could be a third mode.
