This is not the MP-10 truck cab toy in this pic here.
So, Is that the MP-01 or MP-10 truck cab in this pic?
Asked the question because the pic was a bit blurry and I wanted others feedback.
My guess is that it's the MP-10 truck cab mode. But i'm not entirely sure due to the blurry pic blurring out some of the finer details on the toy.
That is MP-01. The legs are a dead giveaway. Seriously, how is this an issue? Vents on the top, flip up gray trailer hitch, MP-01.

Thanks.
Easy mistake to make considering that iGear ripped of the MP-1 design. As for why they used this comparison, I'm wondering if it was due to MP-09 being posed with MP-1 a lot in alt mode and it's size looking better with FL than MP-10.zodconvoy wrote:Okay,I admit I was wrong. I never would have thought they'd use Faith Leader after all the MP-10 comparisons.
You know what? I'll bet that the only reason they used it was because it was already in altmode and it was easier to use that than transform MP-10.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

A shame, because if it was MP styled, I would have gotten that to replace the pile of plastic, flaky paint, and springs that calls itself TRU MP Rodimus.
It's like 90% of all 3rd Party companies seem to not understand what the MP line's mantra is, and just thinks it stands for "large expensive figure".
But it looks fantastic, it's basically what a Classics Rodimus Prime should look like, and the transformation looks like loads of fun.

Tsutsukakushi wrote:Think HasTak is approaching the MP TF toy line with the wrong formula. They seem to be more focused on making works of art. Where the toys are fragile, skinny, looking like statues with articulation.
Don't mind my MP and CHUG TF toys looking like the G1 Cartoon animation. But I need them also to be strong durable action figures toys. Where they can be play with a transformed heavily on a daily basis.
Draw the line when G1 Animation cartoon accurate toys cause compromises on the toys. Like making them more fragile, Skinny, Statues. Not designed to be heavily played with as their more works of art less action figure play toys. This is what MP-05, MP-09 and the MP seekers toys are.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:Some advice.
If the only problem with DX9 Rodimus Prime. Is That it looks more like a CHUG toy and less like a MP toy. Then buy the toy and consider it a CHUG styled toy.
Just think it would be a shame for anyone to pass up on buying this toy. As it galaxies better than any TF toy HasTak can ever hope to create for their G1 Update CHUG and MP TF toy lines.

It's too big for Classics though.
Yep, if this was to scale with TW Orion I might not have been able to resist, but I am far more picky when it comes to MPs.shajaki wrote:Awesome execution, but i agree with other that it doesnt match the MP aesthetic quite right.
Safe bet they will have flames seeing as they are moulded onshajaki wrote:The wings are too big (if only they folded in/up a bit) and I'm assuming the backside of the wings are covered in trailer flames and not solid yellow...

Faith Leader was MP Seeker height... so 4ish inches shorter than MP01.
