That Cyclonus add-on had my curiosity. The color pics and dynamic poses have my attention.

What a great idea, love the way the add-ons/replacement pieces are executed. I'm completely sold on this!

I need these in my life. Does anyone know when thet are out? The MakeToys website doesn't say..

We'll probably know more at TFcon US next month. As of right now no one knows.

If anyone only wants the Cyclonus bits, I'd be interested in talking...

I'm sold, but also a bit concerned that this may be the last of the Manga Mech stuff once it's out now that they're focusing on 3p mps

I don't know about all that. Sure the RE:Master series got a lot of love and announcements, but MT seems to continue to slooooowly bring out items from each of their lines. And with so many characters/designs unique to the IDW series, MT has a lot to choose from. Pharma and Nautica could use some figures.

I hope they do something here soon as this Tailgate is my most looked forward to figure, along with the Hasbro Sky Lynx. The Cyclonus add ons are just icing.

Not that those aren't sought after by a lot of people I'm sure(not me, as I'm sick of how over-hyped fembots are and Pharma wasn't around long enough to be that interesting to me), but I'd like to see more small-bots done, like Rewind, Rong, and maybe even Ravage.

And that's why I think the Manga Mech line is still viable. There are plenty of characters to be made that don't have an official version based on the IDW designs. I just listed the two above because those are who I would like to be made soon. Rung would be awesome to see as well. Hopefully we don't have to wait until TFCon'16 to hear about new MM figures.

That's kind of my point, even if we DO hear about getting more from this series it'll probably be 3 or more years before anything comes of it

MakeToys announced they were doing Drift & Wing so the line isn't dead. I'd also say that suggests they are doing figures they have an attachment to as I haven't read anyone petitioning for Wing. I too hope for a Nautica & Pharma along with Atomizer, Riptide, & the Scavengers.

While that would be awesome, I thought that was only a MMC announcement in their Reformatted line as Alpha and Beta. I must be forgetting MT's announcement.

Ah, you are correct. I had the two confused.

This is pretty cool. One the one hand, though, I'm kind of mad that I went through eBay trying to find Legends Tailgate at a decent price, but on the other hand, I'm less sorry for going through all the trouble to find Classics Cyclonus.

I hope they keep this up; I'd love to have a Rewind and that guy with the eyebrows (Ring? Rang? You know who I mean). Plus, somewhere down the line it'd be nice to have a Chromedome that isn't a $100 convention exclusive. I like Chromedome, but not that much.

Who thought it would be a good idea to give a male robot such incredibly feminine thighs? I mean, last time I checked he isn't supposed to be a robot trap or anything, so...

On the plus side, he would make a very good (albeit expensive) base for a custom Nightracer.

Thinking of picking this up sometime because I really wanna get a Lost Light display going; does anyone with experience with the set know what version of the Universe Cyclonus mold goes best with the upgrades? Like, in terms of matching colour and everything.

The best matches are either the "Challenge at Cybertron" or "Battle in Space" versions of Cyclonus. I think the only difference between the two is that BiS has the rub sign and CaC has the Decepticon emblem as a tampograph.

Correct, it is a very dark purple. Henkei doesn't work either as it's dayglo purple.
