Some have been pondering the size of the individual limbs of third party TFclub's Devastator. Too detailed to be a deluxe class, so many have been guessing Voyager class. From the picture below, the prototype Hook looks to be just under the height of Reveal The Shield Grappel. While Hook's robot mode looks close to the size of a Deluxe, his large crane and the fact that he is kneeling shows that Hook will probably be Voyager size. This is going to be one huge Devastator! I cant wait for these to be released. the size has me worried though, with the amount of joints involved its gonna be epically complex for deluxe class figures

I remember the silhouette being very boxy and rectangle-shaped. But these pics give me new hope for the project. If these things make a successful Devestator I can see this being worth about $500. I dunno if they'll come out to that much (the 3rd party guys don't exactly have a consistant rate to their prices) but we'll see.

Wait so you're saying he voyager size because he kneeling? So is Grapple and he is a Voyager as well, and he still towers over Hook. While I agree that he seems too well made to be Deluxe, I have to ask if you're assuming he is made according to Hasbro/Takara standards? Because as a third party product Hook is not limited by their constraints.

I still say he's a deluxe to mega class size figure. This hook seems to reach the height of Grapple's windshield. I have a Generations Red Alert standing next to my Universe Inferno, and Red Alert is roughly the same height as this hook, if only a little bit shorter. I can see him listed as a voyager because of the sheer bulk of the crane being added to the figure, but for the rest of the line I see them firmly in the deluxe-mega range.

If that's the case, then these figures as whole might actually be cheaper on the whole than I originally thought.

The EZ Collection was not bad, but in my opinion, the Leader class sucked!! I mean come on- Hasbro couldn't make them like they are meant to be- robot to vehicle to Devastator? I just thought it was waste only making them go from vehicle to Devy.

He looks to be a deluxe size to me.. Man, completed he is going to be HUGE! All 6 at that size.. WOW.

You know... I might just keep this guy in robot mode. I've got G1 Devastator with the CD upgrades already. The Decepticons need more troops!

I wouldn't say 'sucked'. He's got good articulation and looks quite imposing. I'll agree it would've been nice... but looking at him and the Constructicon vehicles I've got, it'd be quite difficult engineering-wise.

The big movie devy was a waste of good resources that could have gone to other decent figures

vehicle to combined mode wheres the individual robot modes inbetween? It was disgrace if you ask me even the legends devy was worth purchasing over that one

but this, now this is a masterpeice in the transformer universe this is the best devastator since G1.

im impressed with the poseibilty of the actual crane and that it has little hydraulics and im loving the head and shoulder mode pretty cool

I'm still holding my breathe for a Fansproject Devi upgrade. But if I have the money when this becomes available, I may have to get one (or two if I can afford it!)

i really want to see mixmaster i hope TFclub release images of him next that would be cool and Long haul too

I'd say he sucks...I bought him only because I found him on clearance for $25. I was hoping I'd be pleasantly surprised, but he was every bit as lame and boring as I presumed him to be.

This one on the other hand, I can't wait for. The only thing I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised about here is the price. The rest I'm expecting to be awesome!
