i would be in favor of a prequel but I think they can get the job done by doing fashbacks while moving the current story forward.

i dont think this would be an all out prequel...it would probably be a short 10-15 mins thingy, and i wouldnt be surprised if it was all animated...sorta like Alias did once for a dvd set

I gauruntee you its the prequel comic with some snazzy fade effects and animated transitions with the voicework overlaid.

If I had to venture a guess... the "prequel" will probably end up being postscript stuff they ended up cutting from the actual film. Then again, who knows if ILM just decided to have some fun and put tgoether some exclusive stuff with the 'Bots? Maybe we'll even find out where Barricade ran off to.

And I'll hold my judgement on Welker's ability to handle movie Megs until I get to him in the game. But I think Weaving did a really good job.

Im stunned that I didnt read anywhere how Bumblebee got his voice back.
When I saw the movie the first time and saw bumblebee talking, I immeadiatly thougth that this was because he Touched the ALLSPARK, the allsprak giving life to all transformers(fixing Frenzy aswell, remember?) So this has GOT to be the reason why He can talk again.
The ALLSPARK Fixed him!

Oh sure, if you want the BORING and LAZY explanation. It's like saying a wizard did it. Although it does kinda make sense.

The only other thing it could be would be if they had planned for the flashback sequence to go on a bit longer and budgeted for the CGI but didn't have time to get it all rendered before release.
