Man.. I am digging Soundwave.. It would be nice if you could transform him like the radio in the WOC commercial (with Shockwave)..

I will also pick up Red alert and maybe Blurr..

I like Soundwave's vehicle mode, I just wish the robot mode were chunkier. Seems kind of rangy.

Of course I thought the Music Label Soundwave was TOO chunky...I'm never satisfied. :roll:

I'll get them all except possibly Blurr. He's supposed to be a floating car, not a regular one on wheels. Silly HasTak, always updating my childhood wrong.

Hard to tell... but I sure hope so! That would be super cool. I'm interested to hear Blurrz's take on his namesake.

I like that the Generations Thrust & Dirge have black feet and forearms, making them more accurate than the Henkei ones I got, but I'm wondering if anyone else thinks Dirge's face is a little too light / too similar to Thrust's? I thought he was supposed to have a darker face? Or maybe I'm misremembering...

Is wave 2 of the Generations line even released yet? They're talking about Wave 4 now?

I thought Red Alert, Megs and Soundwave are supposed to be released in Wave 2.

Anyways, Red, Megs and Soundwave are definite buys for me.

Along with Darkmount/Straxus, I've only found concrete pre-orders (in the UK) for Megs and Darkmount, I wonder if the assortments have changed?

lol, look at Soundwave's alt mode compared to Red Alert & Blurr... That thing is a mess.

I wish they'd done Red Alert's head and hands in red.

Blurr is completely perfect.

how long do u think it'll take them to recolour drift/blurr into devcon?

re dirge i'd have hoped for a different weapon too - i think the only seeker in the classics line that has different weapons is ramjet. The original 3 coneheads had different weapons - thrust had inherited the previous seekers' null rays, ramjet had these large cluster bomb things whilst i believe dirge had skinnier versions of ramjet's bombs.

still hoping for a 3rd party solution - scaled down mp starscream nullrays *sigh*

Though I have Henkei Red, I'm picking Gneerations Red up for slight repaint into Breakown.

Soundwave will go in my Classics section with Dirge, and Megs will get a place of honor battling Prime beside my Playstation.

At least according to the pre-orders.

I will totally be getting Blurr (pre-ordered at BBTS yesterday). I wanted Soundwave too, but I need to stop ordering so much online :-(

It's just so sad that probably the soonest I will see SW on shelves in Nov/Dec. Darn you self control! I want them both! :BANG_HEAD:

I keep changing my mind about Blurr but have finally decided that Hasbro's official pics are just bad quality and that Blurr looks as good as he is going to look without making a new original mold. (which if they had done I'm sure could have been nicely re-tooled and painted into Arcee).

Bring on the next wave - can't wait to see Tracks, Jazz, Scourge and Grapple!

OK, I'm not a bit worried about Dirge. I got a nice close up look of the figure and guess what: The Conehead mold is degrading. It's especially evident in the face:

I held a Henkei Red Alert up against the display case with Generations Red Alert, and I can see the merits of either, and would probably get both if I like the character more.

Either color head is great, the brighter whites of the Henkei look better than the less so Generation, but the wierd chrome placement and the too much solid arm colors of the henkei make me lean towards Generations.

As it is, I'll just stick with the Generations one strickly for cost.

Oh gods, Which one do I get now, Drift or Blurr, Drift......Blurr, I don't want 2 with the exact same transformations, but I guess I'll have to make an exception here. After all, their heads and weapons are different, so that's enough of a difference to me!

Sheesh, I was really looking forward to buying Megs, Soundwave and Red Alert all in one purchase. Well, on the bright side I guess that gives me a little something to look forward to in the coming months.
