TakaraTomy designer Hisashi Yuki has Tweeted a New Years photo featuring the Beast Wars Metals X-9 Metals Jaguar figure, which was a Japanese exclusive retool of Transmetal Cheetor released as Ravage back in 1999. The photo contains the message of あけましておめでとうごがいます, which seems to be a typoed form of あけましておめでとうございます, which means "Happy New Year".
But the real meat of this Tweet is the text that accompanies the photo, in which Yuki announces that TakaraTomy will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of Beast Wars with Beast Wars-related events and toys planned for release in 2016! As we've already seen previews of what the upcoming Masterpiece Convoy (Beast Wars)/Optimus Primal will look like, who knows what other new Beast Wars goodies Takara has in store for the year!

You know, Pete's teased that (not quoting, paraphrasing) one of the souvenir figures this year is going to be something very popular and special for US collectors. Now that I think about it, I bet it is Transmetal Ravage. All for it if so!Hellscream9999 wrote:I'd still love to get my hands on the BW Metals Ravage figure - hopefully they'll re-release it this year

I'm thinking we'll be getting The Maximal Combiner (in BW Combiner colors of course) from the following...
Ironhide from CW Motormaster
Prowl from CW Prowl
Silverbolt from CW Air Raid
Add Tigatron using the same mold as Ravage and Airazor from another jet and viola.
Just need to add another 2-pk and the attendee.
I'd like to see Inferno, Quickstrike and Skorponok as part of the group.

Uprising isn't "Pre-Beast Wars", it's "non-Beast Wars". It's a continuity that doesn't have the characters go to Earth to get beast modes.Starsaber468 wrote:They already did a box set for the maximals it was Dawn of Futures Past pretty sure thats exactly why there are too pre wars beast wars counuities too its Beast Wars Uprising and pre-Beast wars and the box set is based off pre-beast wars counuity so they didn't do another box set of maximals
