I don't think it's your computer. It's been happening to a number of people today.

Based on past experiences, I'd expect online retailers to get pre-orders up before too much longer. I make an educated guess that Hasbro will get Bruticus out for Christmas, based on last year's releases and news thus far this year.

Yeah and I'm getting UW Devastator hopefully in December. It'll take a bit for me to save back up for Bruticus, but I still gotta have it. Where the heck did this person get this WHOLE SET anyways??? :-?

To the toy, in an excited way. I love Demolishor (have three of the four variants) and would welcome the big lug into my home gladly. Now if only Cyclonus can be a thing. :-?

I love Demolisher as a character, but COME ONNNN that is just NOT the right mold for him.

Hopefully that demolisher is just like the case of that foc grimlock with bw megatron head because in honesty that looks nothing like demolisher and i would rather wait for a new mold then a repaint of onslaught that looks nothing actually like demolisher but only the paint scheme and head

If you're referring to the Combaticons on that Facebook page, then it appears that it's from a Vietnamese hobby shop. Tagalog is a Filipino language, Vietnamese people speak Vietnamese. Honestly, I'm actually surprised that Hasbro's getting involved in Vietnam. Last time I was there, all I saw were knockoffs.

The photos had an watermark web address on them with the suffix .vn. I'm gonna take a guess here and go with, that stands for Vietnam. So to answer your question, THE FACTORY where they are made. Dude probably works there and wore a really big coat to work. 'cause it gets really cold in Vietnam. :-P

The initial post said these were production samples. I guess that would mean factory samples. Kinda like what would happen with Lena back in the day when s/he would have stuff 2-3 months before release. They werent in package though :-?

Thanks for the shout out Cobo, I do speaking a tiny bit of vietnamese, which is the language spoken in Vietnam.

KOs have nothing to do with it. They are sold everywhere around the world, including the states and canada and that doesnt stop hasbro from dealing with us.

The reason Hasbro is in vietnam because it has a cheaper workforce than china. The reason you only see KOs (I had spotted quite a bunch on my trip there last year) is because the people there cant afford transformers so there is no point in Hasbro distributing it there widely (if at all). It's a very sad image to think of people making things they cant afford with the money they are given to make them. However, this is bringing industry to vietnam and adding infrastucture (needed for big companies to operate, such as stopping lights, roads, and such) and one day it too will rise from poverty as china did and they too will be able to afford those toys.

Motto: "'till All Are One"
This is not a new interview, but it really speaks to me, especially when I see a debate on how Blastoff should look like (and how Takara will deal with him in comparison to Hasbro). This is from the head designer Yuki discussing Superion:

- How did you decide on the direction of Japanese "Unite Warriors" development?
Y: This can be said for "Legends" series as well, but the concept for the current domestic products is that we want (the customers) to remember the Transformers from the past. We do not want someone who had (Transformers toy) long time ago to feel (the new ones are) somewhat wrong. When we first learned of Overseas Superion's specifics, we thought, "huh? There's a wrong guy in the team" (*laugh) So it was decided to make Japanese Superion consisting of all jets.

- Any other point of interest besides changing a member?
Y: The colour scheme is closer to the cartoon image. Actually I combined the images evoked by the cartoon and the original toy well so that the end result is not too far off from either. I like Hasbro version's black wrists and ankles, but still chose white in accordance with the original. As for the paint applications, I made it as close to the original as possible such as the patterns on the wings. If you are not familiar, they are all minor changes, but I did not want to compromise after we went as far as changing a member to stick to the original. When it comes to the Japanese versions, one of our unofficial objectives is to give them deluxe deco so that the fans all over the world would want them, too.

It doesn't look Utilitarian enough too be Bruticus.
We scene these PATHETIC SKINNY WASTE images before. WtF.
I thought they were advertisement samples back at SDCC.
How Disappointing.
- His Head looks off imo.
- The Heli-blades don't sit right (or at least don't look it- in Gestalt mode).
- That Skinny waste is the worst!!!!
- Yellow missles were A Terrible choice.
- Swindle All Remade like that is the only winner.
- Their All Deluxe?

IT DOESN'T LOOK INTIMIDATING enough to be "Utilitarian" Fans project 2005 just absolutely destroys this & that was A decade back. Too bad they didn't take A hint. Or care to, this really looks like sum last minute BS A couple guys put together All last minute And in A Rush-- cause they wanted to get back to All the New molds for 2019 "TITAN WARS".

Are you asking if it's a Waste or if we think he has a slim Waist ?

I take it you mean the combined mode ? Since there is nothing wrong with Onslaught's waist size.

As to Demolishor - I doubt it will ever get made but if it does I will be looking to pester a 3rd party company to make him some rear tracks to turn him into a half track and some new guns perhaps too.

I would also be pestering Funpub into considering Armada themed limbs for him at some future point - though it's a requirement I can likely do without.

One way to look at it though is that instead of having a back up Bruticus limb there is a back up Torso !!

Perhaps Hasbro has some weird idea like making a Ruination colour Boxed set and making the leader Demolishor instead of Onslaught.

(But no I have no idea why this Demolishor is potential thing either)

Probably along the lines of Onslaught being an antiaircraft vehicle, and Demolishor was a stylized version of one.

Of course, much like the FOC Grimlock with Megatron's head, there's the chance that this was just a head variant that won't see the light of day.

I wouldn't be surprised either if they never make Demolishor to retail sale either - unless he finds his way into some future giftset or similar obscure release.

I did Notice that with the guns raised Onslaught looks more like an AA cannon and less like an artillery piece Mounted on a tank transporter than he once did.

If CW Demolishor ever does come out I think I might like to see some slimmer more gun shaped barrels made for Cybertron Demolishor (where he usually has missiles)- that might make a more interesting way to both tie him to his future/alternative self and make the toy look more distinctive to the Armada one when repainted.

Sabrblade wrote:

Demolishor wasn't a crane, though.

Those are two separate statements.

I am saying that

1) The choice of a Demolishor head is a wee bit perplexing to me.
2) That Hotspot is a better thing to remould as his cab is quite similar to the cab many cranes have so turning that mould into a crane makes some sense as it has the correct front end and they could modify the combiner head and ladder accordingly - but I guess the greater number of new parts needed would put them off.

But here is a thought - does "Demolishor" share Bruticus head still too or is that also remoulded - I think it is the same looking at other images of the testshot in vehicle mode I've seen (But I can't be certain as the Testshot for Onslaught is pretty much identical bar the head).

That makes the choice even odder then if the Torso mode is still Bruticus like in the head.

-----

So No I am not suggesting putting Demolishor's head on a Crane - I might do if he resembled Cybertron Mudflap a bit more - but he doesn't so I won't.

The only reason I suggested Hotspot as the remould is that Bludgeon has already been derived from Onslaught so another Remould of a similar kind seemed a bit much when Hotspot's variation (with facing the other way vehicle mode) has yet to be similarly modified as yet.

I was simply suggesting that if they wished to do so a Crane Mode Transformer would be a possible idea. as not only is the shape right they can even keep the Chevrons.

I took it that he meant turning Hotspot into Grappel would be smarter than turning Onslaught into Demolisher.

Demolishor wasn't a crane, though.

I took it that he meant turning Hotspot into Grappel would be smarter than turning Onslaught into Demolisher.

Eh, just categorize everyone by a very loosely termed similar altmode and we can have anyone and everyone be combiners!! :BOT:

So I've had a little bit of downtime and I found a pretty cool limb configuration that works well with Defensor. With Rook and Streetwise as arms and Blades an First Aid as legs, he actually looks pretty even. Blades and First Aid are almost the same width so they look balanced and the both have the kneepad. The Rook and Streetwise combo makes the arms look much more even and bulkier, and to me it looks like the best balanced configuration :BOT:

Hmm...not bad. I actually bought Prowl just to add to Defensor. he and Streetwise are the legs (and they look and are even, being the same mold) and Blades and First Aid are the arms, with Legends Groove on the chest. Rook just hangs out standing in front of them with his Hulk fists. Not sure who is more intimidating.
