just ask the 100's on here that don't speak to me.
No one hates you. As I have explained to you before, a lot of posts don't get responded to, it's nothing personal, it happens to all of us.
Please, I'm asking nicely, drop the "everyone hates me" attitude.

Yes, for the same price as all of the G2 sets, and Victorion, he really had better have 6 figures, also, Betatron is a mis-colored prototype to squeeze cash out of us, Computron is the boxset we all need right now

I wonder if there was originally a different figure intended for this wave, but it was cancelled at the last minute for some reason; then Scattershot was rushed into production early to fill the gap, but his head wasn’t done yet. (That goes along with my theory that the real Computron head is a Titan Master.Maybe he can ride Afterburner.)

That's the best explanation I've heard for the nonsense that is Betashot. But I doubt the Titan Master theory... combining and headmaster'ing is a lot of gimmickin' to jam in one package.Hellscream9999 wrote:That's actually extremely possible; if I remember correctly he wasn't even painted correctly at botconRandomus wrote:I wonder if there was originally a different figure intended for this wave, but it was cancelled at the last minute for some reason; then Scattershot was rushed into production early to fill the gap, but his head wasn’t done yet. But Computrons head wouldn't be a titan master, they would have to re-engineer the neck plate with a swivel port, and I don't think there's enough clearance for that

Okay, now that I look at it again, I see what you mean. I guess you could make so room if you do some (or a lot of) retooling (especially since a complete head doesn't have to fit in there), but that could easily go beyond what Hasbro's budgeting for this set.
Isn't Victorion also retailing for $99.99? If so, then I think this figure should get at least some retooled part beyond alternate heads. Or like, 1 or 2 base molds rumored to be too expensive for individual release...
(Okay, I'm done. No more speculating for me tonight.)

Mindmaster wrote:So if this Computron boxset is real... then Scattershot/Betatron is a lie! Treachery! Deception! Falsehood! Curse you, Hasbro!
In all seriousness, probably the only thing that will make me legitimately desire Computron as much as I did Superion, Defensor, Menasor, and BRUTICUS is if we got an accompanying Abominus. I believe in even teams, and having three Autobot combiners up against two Decepticon combiners is treason in my home!
Has there been any sightings in the states? I've only seen TC, Mags and SW and SW just started to hit shelves.william-james88 wrote:SillySpringer wrote:Has anyone seen the Combiner Wars leader Starscream in retail yet? I have not. He's been around for a while in my neck ofvthe woods. Long enough to have been part of a 50% off sale.

Not to mention all the extra Autobot combiner bits the we're getting that we didn't need... (Serously, why do we get two sets of Ark-Autobots as limbs, but Galvatronus is denied limbs....)

Emerje wrote:Computron box set? Can't say I have very high hopes for this. So Far all of Hasbro's box sets aside from Victorion have been straight repaints, I don't really see why this one wold be any different considering the price. I guess including characters that weren't sold individually could make the difference, but considering what we've gotten for straight repaints at retail I have my doubts.

It's pretty Slim Pickens in my neighborhood for both lines.Emerje wrote:People are still finding Combiner Wars stuff at retail? What little was in stock in my area before Christmas is long gone save for a few Legends. RID still has quite a bit in stock, but stores carry more of that stuff anyway so it isn't a big surprise.

Don't forget Devastator.
Shouldn't we also count the other red headed step combiners? Ultra Prime, Galvatronus, Optimus Maximus, Betatron and Sky Reign? That still puts the bots way ahead of the cons. HelloScreamy may just be onto something
