I personally feel that that's what's needed in a line like this to enable the justification of scrambling - give it a purpose, like enabling different 'super powers', definitely what's best for it.

I agree, or show a tactical side to scrambling, like in the comics show that if the arm gets damaged someone else could jack in to replace the arm.
Rook however benefits from my head cannon, as he can turn his hulk fists into rocket punches!
Plus I assigned Alpha Bravo the role of sniper, silently hovering till the perfect shot appears...then he takes it..

I think the Copter mold is one of the best appendage bots, top or bottom. Love the tail fin as a knee cap, and as a shoulder fin. Plus the proportions just loo good in either. I fold the arms up and over like Ag showed, but haven't tried putting the blades in his fists. I'll have to try that.Hellscream9999 wrote:william-james88 wrote:ZeroWolf wrote:I know what it's like silly springer, I only have four deluxes from CW and no torsosmoney has not been kind to my family with one bill after the next requiring our attention. Luckily I own the best two deluxes from the line, Alpha Bravo and Rook.
I am totally on board calling that Alpha Bravo mold one of the best. I have a question for you guys though, doesnt it make such a better leg than arm? I love how the rotors look in leg mode, it just seems like such an organized and stable limb that way.
Yeah, he rocks in leg mode, the arm mode always felt so cluttered with his arms and floppy rotor assembly crowding up his upper arm

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

The Firefly mold has some kind of sniper rifle looking gun.

My favorite arm is Dragstrip/Mirage though.

Stuartmaximus wrote:well....for Superion....i've got Mirage instead of Drag Strip as a leg
& for Defensor....i've got Prowl instead of Streetwise instead of a leg! or you could have both Prowl & Streetwise as legs!

I have a tough time with the dead-end/streetwise mold as a leg. I hate having that overlip decend and see the car innerds, it clashes with the rest of the limbs since it is right there in your face. I usually flip that car front up to make some kind of kneepad instead but it doesnt look as good as Offroad or First Aid which are awesome legs.

See, I never liked the look of the car hood flipped down either, which is why Breakdown is an arm, and I love the kneepads, and while the deadend mold doesn't do as good a job as the offroad mold, it still works. and because the kneepad design for the offroad mold is so good, it doesn't make that good an arm for me. Either way, it seems each mold has it's strong point. I can't really thing of any mold that is completely awesome in both. Brawl maybe, but he feels much more natural as a leg

That sounds like the head canon of another fan on this site. You should check this out alpha-bravoshock-t102554.php

If I am remembering correctly, Streetwise has the comic that comes months before Howell even did art for the comics....He comes with combiner wars prelude stuff I think

Wow I get mixed up between Mairghread Scott's art and Corin's. I'm stupid.
Stuartmaximus wrote:then obviously you won't be using Smokescreen as a leg then? maybe Trailbreaker or Hound?
Stuartmaximus wrote:wait a minute! hasn't Rook been officially rejected by Hasbro as a limb for Defensor?(even though he still appears as an arm in that artwork)
& yes! you can still use Rook how you like! that of course......is up to you.
