It matters for Wildrider, I wont be getting Takara's menasor. The exchange for the Canadian dollar and Japanese yen has worsened since. And plus I already have dragstrip and I dont feel there would be as much in difference with their Menasor as there was with their Superion since Hasbro's Menasor comes with the right colored hands, for instance, and its not like Takara is going to change the combiner head to be more accurate anyways (not that it matters, I actually love the combiner wars menasor head). But its fine, I am not worried at all either, I am sure he will turn up someway or another.

I dont know, maybe if he's super discounted (rarely happens with wave one toys though). Dont know if I'll even buy defensor at this point since I am not fond of the combined mode. It looks so bulky and not as cohesive at the others. And I am so curious to see what Takara does with it. He will be the biggest wait and see of all. I dont buy everything that comes out in a line usually, and because previous lines didnt combine it was easier to avoid doubling molds and save some money. It seems more complicated and difficult this time. Plus you add the fact that now the platinum editions will be available to me and I have to put money aside for some of them, especially the G1 reissues. My biggest priority right now is actually Leader Magnus, the Coneheads and Devastator. Combiner wars past Menasor are for whatever money is left after that (probably none due to a baby on the way)

And who knows, I might end up getting the alpha bravo mold as blast off

I keep asking myself that, especially with a Hasbro Quickslinger/Slingshot being possible :BANG_HEAD:

I may just settle for Blades for right now, and await what his true pretool is (Vortex!).

I would laugh if the hand weapon for Quickslinger is white just to make it so you have to buy Alpha Bravo for the black hand.

Would it really matter? He still had to be bought in order to complete Superion. I doubt they would have the balls to do it though.

I just watched The Key to Vector Sigma last night, and I could swear there were five jets, including some guy named Slingshot who was kind of a jerk to Ironhide, and in fact the most prominent member of the team in their introductory episode aside from Silverbolt. And I didn't see any Alpha Bravo anywhere...

That is a fair point. By his exact wording, that is what he said. But I suspect the spirit of what he intended to say is closer to how I interpreted it...

But whatever. I don't even get why it is an argument anymore, since we now have options. There will be five Aerialbot limbs, and people can buy whichever four they want, or buy all five and have an extra to swap in and out. I'll be amused when I see the first pic of Superion to have both Alpha Bravo and Slingshot, leaving one of the other three out.

Think at some point Hasbro will create gift sets for most of the CW combiner teams. With Slingshot and Wildrider included in the gift sets. They will probably be store exclusives and site exclusives.

Worse case scenario. We'll get Wildrider and Slingshot. But the CW Gift sets might be in Generations 2 colors, Special ops colors or Shattered glass colors.
