Hasbro could have done the Predacons, Seacons, Terrorcons, Monster Pretenders/Dinoforce, or better yet an all-new Decepticon Combiner team but yet they have to release another set of the MOST over-used Decepticon combiner teams.
The FOC team wasn't very good. I have the SDCC set MISB because I was afraid to touch it once I heard the plastic around the combiner ports could crack. It also just didn't look right. This will be a Bruticus with better limbs and a more solid build.
At one point I had the SDCC FOC Combaticons and the Platinum FOC Combaticons. Got rid of both. Didn't like the sculpting, colors, engineering, scale and hollow toys. Thought these were strike out toys.
Looking forward to the CW Combaticons. These will be my update G1 Combaticons toys.

Getting a strong, Car Robots Fire Convoy, vibe from the CW Hotshot toy. 2016 is Hasbro's RID 15th anniversary. Wonder if Hasbro or TFCC will do a RID Combiner. Using repurposed CW toys.

Now I'm thinking about how they could to the rest of RID.
*Optimus from Inferno
*Side Burn has a TFCC toy
*X-Brawn from Offroad or something
*Prowl from Streetwise
*Towline from Hoist
*Spy Changers from some of the Legends.
*Build Team from the upcoming Devastator. Leave out Scrapper and Mixmaster since they don't have analogues.
The rest of the Predacons are a bit difficult.

I had two fully assembled combiners when I was a kid from G1 (still have them, not in the best shape LOL), Devastator and the Protectobots. Super excited both will be re-released properly this year from Hasbro (re: affordable).

You watch, Stripes will be a G.I.Joe repaint of another Legends figure to counter Viper. Maybe that rumored green repaint of Warpath.
Emerje
Maybe not seeing Stripes already exists. http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Stripes

Haven't researched it or anything yet but is there a reason Streetwise's front end is folded back/down instead of pointing upward? I feel like G1 had a double hinge or something so the hood formed a knee-cap like the other bots do..koolkollectibleskhai wrote:I like your "unofficial" transformation! The problem with the official transformation is definitely the fact Streetwise looks weird in comparison to First Aid.
Here's my Defensor with his mate Superion. I gotta say, he is so much better than Menasor! The Stunticon was just all wrong in terms of body proportions, but Defensor and Superion are pretty damn good!
Hotspot and Defensor review is uploading now, so stay tuned

Looking at it on my desk right now. Dead End's can point up, so I would assume Streetwise's can as well.itscramtastic wrote:Haven't researched it or anything yet but is there a reason Streetwise's front end is folded back/down instead of pointing upward?
