Not at all. He's the only CW figure I'm looking forward to.

I think Powerglide looks better than all the Aerialbots combined (no pun intended.) Been eying this since June.

I thought he'd be bigger, because the articulation and details look good. Face sculpt is spot on. Shame his antenna/lens thing isn't centered though.

Do you mean Powerglide's GAU-8 Rotary Cannon? If so, it should be off center.

I can now honestly say, I'm a Combiner Wars convert. When I first heard about the line I wasn't really interested, but after seeing all the pics showing detail and articulation I definitely do believe I'll be picking these up when I can find them. And thus..... my wallet screamed in approaching agony.

there might be a lot of complaints out there, but also a lot of praise. lots of buzz and hype... anyone else think these will fly off shelves? and i mean past the honeymoon phase?

Definitely up for Superion, he looks really good. Glad Hasbro have gone for the Combiners seeing as I really can't afford the pricey (albeit very good) 3P versions.

I'm interested to see how in-hand images of Menasor will look. Also, would like to see Superion up against the FoC Bruticus. He'll be bigger because of the Voyager torso, but hopefully not too much.

His head .

Built in chest plate .

No heavy back kibble .

Slim side profile .

Powerglide .


Everything else i dont like.

To mis-quote one of my favorite Japanese superheroes: SUPERION KITAAAAAA!!!!

Looks excellently well balanced and articulated, wish we could've gotten some knee action there, with the actual joints. And I'm really hoping Silverbolt's elbows are tight for the way that they combine.

As a side note I wonder if the club is going to run with all these new molds and create a new combiner

Really, if they didn't, they'd be missing an opportunity. We already have planes enough for 3/4 limbs, we're only really lacking heatwave and landquake as far as easy redecos go. Skyfall needs a new alt mode though, since powerglide is a legends size figure and skyfall is a limb... (does anyone else think it's weird that that mold was never reused as powerglide? I know he got his own figure in universe, but hasbro passing up an easy redeco opportunity is odd...)
Anyway, Topspin from Alpha Bravo, Breakaway from Air Raid, Skyfall from Fireflight probably, because he shares less similarity with Air Raid than Skydive does, I guess the torso and landquake would depend on what we get from any other combiners they release for available molds, but worst case scenario we get landquake from offroad and heatwave is up in the air depending on additional voyager molds

i will be when Combiner Wars Nexus Prime is announced. i wouldn't care if it was a 5 piece set or separate

Question regarding the Nexus Prime ideas. I don't know the character much since I follow the more mainstream and mass market toylines. It is written on his Tfwiki profile that his components come from "multiple franchises" and thus makes it hard to say what toyline he is from. But aren't they all just Energon redecos?

Yeah, but they were all sold by the Club under mostly different labels, and nearly all of them come from different universes/continuities.

Skyfall was sold as a Cybertron toy and came from the Cybertron cartoon universe.

Landquake was sold as a Timelines toy and came from the Cybertron cartoon universe.

Breakaway was sold as a Classics toy and came from the Classicsverse (which itself was a splinter timeline branched off from the Marvel G1 comics universe).

Topspin was sold as a Classics toy and originally came from the Generation 2 era of the Marvel G1 comics universe, but was first seen by the readers in the TransTech universe.

Heatwave was sold as a Timelines toy and came from the main Shattered Glass universe.

I like how the legs on Superion can be done in two different ways. Although it means using the elbow I think I'll go for the more cartoon accurate look. If I'm honest though, I thought the jet bits faced out in the toon.
