I can't imagine they found a *slower* boat than the one Hasbro used. Some of it could just distribution/port/fraight issues... but yeah... a month lag is crazy. Especially when Amazon JP can shoot things over in 3 days.
SpikeyTigertron wrote:Skritz wrote:Man I want this set for Frenzy Rumble 'The Blue Guy' and Wingthing more than Powermaster partners-as-casettes.
I do think it was strange that they packaged "the rest of the team" with the "power masters" but I suppose considering the alternative was 2 individual w packs... I can see why they wanted to shoot for a $20 price point.
Makes me wonder if the eventual Blaster Casettes will be handled the same way. Also surprised we didn't get Enemy and Howlback since they got MP releases...

Except no one who ordered from TFsource have gotten them yet, and they have yet to say they are coming in stock/are in stock in their newsletters either, and those would be trumpeted

Howlback's never gotten an MP release. She has her original figure, and the recolor of TR Ravage that came out in the Bumblebee movie line... and that's it for her so far.
Also, why haven't we gotten a Buzzsaw? We've gotten all Soundwave's other minions.
Because the Laserbeak mold is gangmolded with the Ravage mold. To get a Buzzsaw, we would need another two-pack with the Ravage mold.Bounti76 wrote:Also, why haven't we gotten a Buzzsaw? We've gotten all Soundwave's other minions.

But since there is no red plastic on Siege Ravage, it is likely the black and gray that they share, so we would need another use of Ravage molded in black and gray plastic to get a properly-colored Buzzsaw.

has TFSource not gotten *any* of them in?! Maybe... their supplier dropped the ball in Japan or TakTom Mall screwed them... But you'd think *they would be told* that and not leave their customers on the hook.
Hell, they don't even need to assemble/paint cat character B, just give me Buzzsaw already dammit.Sabrblade wrote:Because the Laserbeak mold is gangmolded with the Ravage mold. They got the first 4, I paid for them 2 months ago. They got those ones in on time. The final 2, no.
It is baffling with them, they've gotten new Earthrise and Cyberverse and SS stuff since too, so I am now legit worried like you said that they were shorted and I've lost out on the final 2, which includes the 1 I wanted most

More puzzling still is that the pre-order for those 2 is still available, you can *seemingly* still pre-order them right now

So, they basically molded themselves into a corner. Kind of weird for a design team so focused on early G1 to not have a clear plan for Buzzsaw, but to use the Ratbat mold 3 times.

It's a super cool box and it was awesome to discover that it could be turned inside out to make a giant cassette tape!![]()

Hasbro has yet to do any Micromaster 2-packs containing members of opposing factions in this trilogy. It seems like they want to keep the 2-packs to having just one faction.Skritz wrote:What about releasing Buzzsaw with Stripes, should an Earthrise Blaster ever show up?

Technically, one of the Powermaster Partner for Doubledealer is an Autobot.

And it's not a 2-pack. It's a Selects 4-pack.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Skritz wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Hasbro has yet to do any Micromaster 2-packs containing members of opposing factions in this trilogy. Yes, but in this set, he is called out as a Decepticon

Decepticon Rumble, Decepticon Wingthing, Decepticon Skar and Autobot Knok alt modes fit inside the chests of WFC-S25 Soundwave and WFC-S55 Soundblaster figures (each sold separately, subject to availability).
Nevertheless, Selects releases bend the rules of mass retail WFC toys.aronjlove wrote:According to Pulse, Knock is an Autobot.Sabrblade wrote:And it's not a 2-pack. That's probably why this is such a funky pack. Knock has to be an Autobot or else it wouldn't work with the Doubledealer and his flip-flopping insignia. I can't remember, was Doubledealer and this pack announced at the same time? I think he wasn't and that's why they only mention Soundwave and Soundblaster on the store page.Sabrblade wrote:Nevertheless, Selects releases bend the rules of mass retail WFC toys.aronjlove wrote:According to Pulse, Knock is an Autobot.Sabrblade wrote:And it's not a 2-pack. Sentinel_Primal wrote:If memory serves, Doubledealer was announced at the time, but there wasn't any confirmation that he'd have any interactivity with this Micromasters outside of the 5mm pegs. Might be wrong on that though. I just remember thinking about pre-ordering and then seeing that the dates were like 4 months apart with the 4 pack coming in May, and Doubledealer coming in September before he was moved up to July
