I'm aware of reverse convoy's previous alt mode lol there are plenty of examples of transformers with previously established alt modes that have different ones with new incarnations. Duh

I said "random thought, what if" not "oh hey know what would be a great idea? Know what they should do because it makes the most sense?"

I ran across an image of G2 Megatron on instagram. The camo reminded me of this Bulkhead. I remembered the previous rumors of this Bulkhead being used as a mold for a version of Optimus Prime. I thought of reverse convoy- again, random. Reverse convoy- based on the quick skim I just did- was depicted as either Megatron disguised as the autobot reverse convoy, or the dying body of reverse convoy being possessed by Megatron. So in my head when I think of Megatron posessing/disguising as a convoy, a more convincing disguise would be with a truck alt mode/convoy-looking body as opposed to a tank alt mode/Megatron body with convoy face slapped on it. So this hypothetical version of the character would be leaning more towards a convoy look than the Megatron look

Would there be better ways to execute a new version of the character, and better molds to use as a base for the character? Hell yes. But I never implied otherwise

Well here's a bad idea: what about energon optimus prime? Or more ridiculous yet, G1 optimus prime. The tarp/sheild would replace the trailer. I'm getting many strange ideas on how that would work.

Slight remold as well and he could represent Animated Ultra Magnus.

I think we missed our shot at a new Reverse Convoy during Titans Return. A Headmaster gimmick would have suited him well.

Maybe because G1 Blurr, no matter the style, originated in the G1 toy line and cartoons which don't get called out, while Impactor originated in the Marvel comics?

Lots of new sightings today. Both Legacy Titan class Metroplex and the exclusive Red Cog figure were found at targets today.

MrRay found the Red Cog weapon pack at a Target in Pennsylvania, while Zuckuss found Metroplex at a Target in New Jersey.

You'll see in that Metroplex photo that Zuckuss also found a never before seen thee pack in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line which rereleases deluxes Bumblebee, Prime and Cheetor.

So pictures from the I-assume-still-ongoing TF SDCC panel have started hitting social media, confirming the existence of Deluxe Skullgrin and also showing Crankcase to be a Skids partial, but at the same time I'm seeing someone who is at the panel saying that Hasbro is intentionally only showing the bot modes so they can go over the alt modes and accessories on a separate Pulse livestream?

Oh, except for Alpha Trion and Orion Pax, those we get to see all the modes for despite that not being the case for the others for some reason.

The SDCC Panel gave us reveals of Legacy wave 3 (no wave 4 for you!). Only the bot modes were revealed for some reason. The alt modes will be given at a later time. The new reveals shown were:
Deluxe Skullgrin
Deluxe Blanker (Pointblank) with Targetmaster
Deluxe Crankcase (based on Skids as everyone and their grandma predicted) who is a partial use of Skids
Deluxe Dead End
Leader Transmetal 2 Megatron
Pulse Exclusive Alpha Trion and Orion Pax

They also officially revealed Armada Starscream and Inferno which we saw a while ago.
