Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

Fully agree with your points about the head and transformation. I cannot wait for the 3-pack one, with the IDW head. that is the one that I have been wanting. Was fully gonna pass on the retail one, but I counterpunched myself with how good it looked in the store.
It's a great figure, and hopefully the 3-pack one is the perfect version.
Also, Mirage is a pretty dang great figure. I love the alt mode, and the robot mode is pretty slick too. I wish he had some wrist rotation, but he's still really good.

Skritz wrote:Mirage is one of those figures that looks so good, so clean that it makes it hard for me to complain about GEEWUN when it looks that good on a deluxe budget. Him and the Sideswipe mold are basically the relatively basic design cues you expect of a transforming robot from the Diaclone line but heavily upgraded with modern engineering. If not for the faux chest hood, he'd basically be what the Diaclone designers intended but could not pull off. And no I don't count Masterpiece because MP is very much its own thing with an insane budget.
Skritz wrote:The mold looks so good it make me wish he had a retool/redeco. I mean, yes he technically does via Holo Mirage but does it really count when its THE SAME CHARACTER? Give me Leadfoot. Speedstream/Deluge or Fracture/Crasher.
D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Mirage was made to be Slapdash, I am sad it doesn't seem like that will happen
aronjlove wrote:As someone who is relatively new to the toy collecting part of the fandom I am astounded at how well engineered the Siege figures are. I regret spending scalper money on Takara Tomy Legends as I could have used that on more of the Siege line. I came from the IDW comics so I wanted my Brainstorm and Chromedome but the articulation on those pale in comparison to any single figure from the Siege line, not including the Micromasters. And from the images of the new Optimus and Cliffjumper it looks like Earthrise is going to be even more articulated. I'm gonna make soooo many stop-motion GIFs
That looks like lots of fun, but I can't help but worry about all the scuffs and scratches the plastic is getting from the concreteSpikeyTigertron wrote:

And I was actually rooting for Impactor

I've seen other fans headcanon the red Mirage as a fembot chemist named Formula.Sentinel_Primal wrote:Emerje wrote:Speaking of the Mirage mold and speculation of what they might do with it beyond the clear version, what about this using the Amazon "sphinx" head and a new name?

Ooo, I'd be down for a red repaint of Mirage. And as for names, I think it could be a G1 Side Burn. The alt mode doesn't really scream Side Burn, but the color placement kind of reminds me of his super version and I don't see why not since we've never had a G1 version of Side Burn before. Alternatively he could be called Buddy because of the "elf" on his chest

Also, we so have had a G1 version of RiD Side Burn before:
